After having them for a little while I think they have grown on me more. They sound good at low volume but get better as the volume goes up. And it took a little time to get the bass, midrange, and treble set right. I didn't take any pictures of the install but I can probably answer any questions you have. Pretty much just remove the door panels, remove the oem speakers, cut off the little alingment tabs on the door (you will see what I mean when you get there) then put everything back together. The rear door panels were pretty easy to get off. The front you need to remove the switch panel (window switches) then take out a bolt along with the other bolt under the upper door handle cover. I spent about an hour and a half in the dark doing all four. Not rushing and some time looking for stuff. Probably about 10 minutes a door if I were to do them again. Also, I ordered the speaker wire adapters from Amazon even though they said they would not fit. They did. But one of the spade connector that connects to the speaker was too small so I had to replace that with the correct size. Let me know if there is anything else.

I ended up with a set of Rockford Fosgate in all four doors. They sound decent. Not a lot of bass and almost too clear on the high notes but pretty good. Also, I have made a career out of working around heavy equipment and machine shops so my hearing is not as good as some so keep that in mind.

Hi, I am looking for some advise on what some good replacement speakers would be for my Edge. It is an SEL with MFT, no nav, not sony. I am not interested in adding an amp. I just want something to replace what I have that will sound good to great with the factory radio. Now I have a speaker that is crackly so that is the main reason for replacment. But it's always nice to upgrade stuff right! Thanks

Hello everyone! I'm new here and it looks to be a great forum. I just aquired a 2013 Edge and installed the antenna and hood switch for the remote starter, maybe getting it turned on tomorrow. But my question is, is there a key fob (just the fob not a complete key) avalable that will work with this system? Or is the key with buttons the only option? I think I read somewhere that you can only have 4 keys programed to the car and I don't really want to not be able to use the original non remote starter keys just incase I need them down the road. Thanks
