Ford will also extend your lease if they know you have a vehicle on order with them as well, so don't fret if it does get delayed for some odd reason.

I'm dropping off my truck tonight, and the dealership is replacing the spoiler. They are giving me a free rental until they are finished with the work.

If I'm not mistaken, both wipers do pull from the same reservoir. I just turned in an '04 Eddie Bauer Explorer for my Edge, and I only had to fill one reservoir for that truck as well.

Congrats on your new ride! My BAMR also does that. I think it does this so you can have a few different choices as to how far you want it open. (GM has the pano roof in seperate pieces of glass that you can choose different stages of the opening. I like Ford's one piece Vista Roof better!) Of course, I like it open all the way whenever I can!

Maybe cracking one of the front windows would help? If not, I would go to the dealer. I typically have just opened my BAMR on the few nice days we've had so far in NE Ohio and have had no such problems, but I know the air is circulating differently.

My salesman called me back yesterday afternoon, and said I was correct in noticing this mistake. They are currently working on the details with their service department, and they will correct the factory's mistake. I will update when I hear back from the dealership with an actual appt. to correct this issue. Everything else seems to be OK. The door handles and mirrors were color matched, but for some odd reason, the rear spoiler wasn't. On the same subject: Anyone know if the MKX is supposed to have a body colored rear spoiler? I drive by our local Lincoln dealership everyday, and I happened to notice yesterday all of their MKX's have black spoilers. I would think all Lincoln's would have the body color spoiler, rather than the base Ford black spoiler. That's just my opinion though. BTW-I ordered my vehicle. I didn't buy it off the lot. It's redfire/charcoal AWD SEL+ w/BAMR, 18"chrome wheels, reverse sensing, audiophile, Sirius, All-Weather Mats, Towing Pkg, and remote start. I've had it for about 3 weeks now, and I absolutely love it. (My MPG is still lower than I'd like though) Hopefully, we can resolve this issue quickly. It's not a deal breaker, but I want what I paid for.

I picked up my AWD SEL+ (redfire w/charcoal) a few weeks ago, and I had realized the rear spoiler was black. I thought it was odd that it wasn't body colored, as I thought it was supposed to be, but didn't look further into it at the time. Saw an Edge in a commercial last night, and it did have a body colored rear spoiler, which made me research a little further today, where I found the SE's spoiler is supposed to be black and the SEL/SEL+ is supposed to be body colored. Anyone else out there with an SEL/SEL+ with a black spoiler, or is yours painted to match your truck? I've contacted my salesman, and I am waiting for him to get back to me. I just wanted to see if I'm the only one with this "dilemma".

I have a SEL+ AWD in Redfire with Charcoal leather. Very sharp looking vehicle! I have gotten many compliments and stares on the road while driving around town. It looks especially good in the bright sunlight! If you want something different, the copper is a nice looking color as well. I decided to go with the red for resale value. Sometimes the odd colors don't resell as well. I have no regrets with the red. :happy feet:

I had the Ford remote starter installed in my Edge. I love it! It works from pretty far distances, and the truck warms up quickly. It also allows you to leave the vehicle running for up to 10 minutes if you're just running into the house/store really quick after you've driven the car. (Just push the one button before you turn off the ignition.) I will have to look at the papers I got with my fobs and get back to you about the manufacturer. I don't remember who it is off the top of my head. I've only had my truck for two weeks and the remote start for about 10 days, so I'm still pretty new to it, but I'm loving every moment of it so far. Living in NE Ohio, I can use it in the winters to warm up the truck and in the summer to cool down those black leather seats.

We get the X-plan discount, and I just got a $500 cash back rebate on my Edge, as well as the low leasing rates that are available. My dealership was great about keeping in touch with me about my delivery date as well, once I ordered my truck. This was our 3rd truck in a row we've purchased through them, and we will continue to deal with them in the future. I surely wouldn't pay over MSRP for anything, and I would take my business to another dealership in your area that was willing to to make a fair deal.

I know they just lowered their lease rates, so my guess is they lowered the purchasing APRat the same time, as these rates were announced on the same day. 24 mos=.25% 36 mos=.5% 39mos=.75%
