  1. That is exactly what my dealship told me when I took my 2011 in for a loose air conditioner fuse. If I didn't purchase the extended warranty, they didn't have to give me a rental car even if it is still under manufacturers warranty. I need to take it in for the Sync system update, I called Ford and they told me that the dealer should give me a rental car this it was a letter issued by Ford. But its usually hit or miss, depending on what service manager I get and how much of a fit I pitch.
  2. I bought a trailer hitch cover and trailer pin for my 2008 Edge. It says it fits most applications. When I went to install the cover, it doens't come anywhere close to fitting. I didn't really want the trailer hitch when I purchased the car, but every vehicle with the other options that I did want, came with the towing package. I thought covering it up would help "dress" up my vehicle a bit. Any suggestions on what kind of adaptor I can purchase in order to make the trailer cover fit? Trailer Hitch cover
  3. I had this exact problem. I have a 2008 Limited AWD with less than 2,000 miles. I was driving to work 2 weeks ago on the highway at around 60mph. The first message was on the trip computer screen "ODO not working" the Odometer reading was a zero. Then the airbag light came on, and then the wrench light. At around the same time, I noticed the speedometer dial was at ZERO, although I was going around 60. Next the trip computer mentioned something about my tires not having the proper pressure. Next came the traction control light. At this point I was near my exit and once I could safely get to a parking lot, I turned the car off to hopefully reboot the wacky computer. No such luck, in addition to the lights already on, the engine light now was lit and the car would barely move. I drove the short distance to work, called roadside assistance and had it towed to my dealership. They diagnosed it as the speed sensor, and repaired it in about 4 days. Hopefully this is not a problem that will continue to plague me.
