Is it normal for Ford to charge $260 for this? I don't understand why this happened when it was working fine a couple days ago

Does ford charge for these software updates?

My Symptoms are exactly the same as the first post. The outside temp sensor will read and then go blank with --- and the fan will cut out at that exact time and then cycle back on. I think replacing the outside temp sensor is my first step however this fix has not helped most people and don't want to throw parts at this thing

I have this same issue. Anybody know where to look to resolve this issue?

Did anybody find the fix for this issue? I'm having the exact same problem currently.
