  1. I would love to do that with just the springs then with the bracing kit & springs. A lot of times it is the tires that determine the G number as I am sure that a stock Edge Sport with racing slicks would post a much higher number.

I would think a good performance summer tire would get decent grip. I'd wager that .83 would go up to .95, maybe more. I was thinking of something like this for mine - https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Continental&tireModel=ContiSportContact+5P&partnum=64YR1SPC5N0&vehicleSearch=true&fromCompare1=yes&autoMake=Ford&autoYear=2016&autoModel=Edge%20AWD&autoModClar=Sport

  2. Thanks! I had a local shop do the install. $400 and 4 hours later, life is good. It took them a minute to figure out to drop the subframe. I saw they were having trouble and mentioned it to be good idea, they took my advice and were finished soon after. I went out for another quick run about this evening and I still love it. I feel besides the tune, it's the best thing I've done to the car.

  3. Soooooo today I had my H&K springs installed. I love them! :yahoo: I only put about 25 miles on them this afternoon but my initial impression is that they feel a little more supple than stock during everyday driving. I've experienced no squat on hard acceleration and as stated by Xtra, they do firm up quick in the twisties. Over bumpy roads, the car feels more compliant and settled. I don't feel jarred nor do I cringe when hitting bumps; all is good. I will update this thread when I get a few hundred miles on the springs, but so far, I couldn't be happier with my decision. Before and after pics for your perusal.

  4. I've not experienced a steering fault and I'm not an expert on the LMS tune but I'm confident the tune has nothing to with your steering problem. Return the tune to stock and see if the fault occurs again. If so, take the car to the dealership for service. Following the service, retune. My $.02. Good luck.

  5. Sounds like you're going through a bit of trouble for something that should be plug and play. I don't know if it's an option, but you could purchase a different dash cam. I have a Z-Edge dash cam that turns off within 15 seconds of my ignition being turned off and I use the USB port for power. The model year of your Edge isn't listed so I'm guessing you don't have a USB power source. No worries, there's a cigarette lighter attachment that comes with the camera. Good luck.

  6. Did you buy it off amazon and return it?

No, purchased from Stage 3 Motorsports and returned. Magnaflow's website has been changed to reflect FWD only for that system and they've allegedly notified all vendors of such.

  7. So I went out to Milan this afternoon, pretty cool time. Met some nice guys and saw some sick (and fast) cars. Ran the Edge a few runs and although I'm happy with the performance of the truck, not so much with my R/T.

Please note, this is my first time on the drag strip in any car and I know practice is order with my launches. Here are my slips - car 9. Running 93 performance tune, 2,200 RPM brake boost, traction control off, 1/4 tank of gas.
