Do you have a vista roof?

 

If the windshield is not sealed correctly, it can let water in.

Yes I do have the vista roof. I had it in and they are telling me it is the windshield so they are replacing the windshield. But if it were the windshield why would by headliner on the drivers side get soaked?? I looked behind the headliner and it is all black and has mold on it. Then occasionally my vista roof will be shutting and then it gets almost closed and retracts back and won't close. I wonder if this issue goes hand in hand?

15B21 - A-PILLAR WATER LEAK INSPECTION AND REPAIR

From what I understand, 'Field Service Action' is a manditiory repair. Not quite as compelling as a TSB, but indicates that Ford is well aware of a defect on the 2015 Edge.

I will share the outcome with you all after the dust settles post dealer visit today.

I think it was recall 15B21 that addresses leaks on the '15s. There's a thread on it somewhere ...

I have a 2015 Ford Edge Sport and every time I go through a car wash it leaks water in my drivers side starting at the headliner and goes all the way down and soaks the carpet. What is the deal with this? I have it at the dealership and they are replacing the windshield......the water is leaking in higher than that?? Any insight on this?
