Hi Ginger, I believe you are exactly right. It is a product of Keyper Systems..a global co. I just found this information online .. I am going to stop by dealership tomorrow afternoon. Apparently salesman should have removed it before giving me the keys. Thanks erlalx

2016 Edge SEL. I got the two Fobs. I got the separate door key. Just don't know what this other gadget is.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this. What is the small (about inch or so) black gadget that came attached to one set of my keys? Almost looks like a battery in one end of it. Have not saw anything about it in the manual. Thanks, erlalx

Tjm623 I figured it out. Have to go to the list of Favorites, click on one and then choose EDIT, then add a name.

Thanks for all the information. Is there a way when adding destinations to the favorites list to add a name? It would be much easier to look up "Jon Doe" instead of some street and city. Maybe I'm just missing a detail somewhere.

I finally got to bring my Edge home yesterday. Have not drove it too much yet. Just gotta get use to it and how everything works. It is White Platinum Met Tri-Coat. Equipt. group 201A. Tecnology Package, BSMS, Remote Start, Push Button Start, Navigation. Mkey. Heated Seats, RV Camera and a few other things. Probably will be asking for help/information sometime.

This past Friday I took a 160 mile trip in the 17 Fusion. I believe it has the non EchoBoost 2.5 L engine. It seem to have good power and ran pretty good. My 16 Edge SEL has the 2 L EchoBoost engine. Will there be a noticeable difference in power, "get up and go" that I noticed in the Fusion.

Yesterday after driving and decided to make purchase, very nice salesman noticed a severe crack in rear sun roof panel on the 2016 SEL Edge. So now I own it but don't have it. Service manager wanted to keep it, so afraid it may shatter more. He said hopefully they can get the part and have it replaced in the next 3-7 days. I did get a 2017 Fusion to use until then. So now I'm anxiously waiting.
