  1. Not bad. This is the one thing I hate about our 08'. Guess I'll be junkyard diving soon.
  2. Our 08' a/c works just ok when sitting. It is significantly colder when moving though. Wonder if our fans are getting weak...
  3. We have almost 8k and there is little wear. They fared well in the winter and are only slightly louder than new OEM. The MPG picked up @1. From 18.4 to 19.7.
  4. Our 08' lost all heat on the passenger side this winter. With a new baby coming I was worried. The dealer kept the car for two days. There were a lot of new parts to go on and a complete flush. The new coolant is quite dark. All seems well now. I'll look up the receipt and update this with the work done.
  5. Anyone else try Goodyear Assurance CS Fuel Max (new tire) in 245/60 18. Our Mich Latt Tour HP's were at 1/32 by 33,000mi and all area replacements were @1k$+. Also the load was 105t and the OE were 104h. The installer (bought tires elsewhere from local distributor) cried foul that it would be "unstable" with the lower t rating. I questioned the 17" OE being 103t but to no avail. I've been with this shop for a while and they are the best in the area, maybe liability conscious or something of the sort. Just curious. The CS's are quite smooth and were good in the recent snow outside of Buffalo this week. Time will tell how they wear or affect mileage. I'll re-post after more time with them.
  6. My wife and I bought an 08' edge on @may 24/08. We have noticed that the a/c is weaker than her 05' escape, considerably. We have also noticed that the a/c is considerably cooler on the highway. It's actually freezing on the highway. My only guess is that at speed, the condenser receives considerably more air flow. Has anyone with the towing pack (think it has upgraded fans amongst others) noticed if it is better? I will do a temp drop test later this week. I wonder if ford could fix this by programming the fans to; run faster (if not max already), constantly (if not already), and have both (I assume two fans) run (if only one is running for a/c). I have seen hondas that run one fan for a/c, and one or both for engine cooling...
