  1. Thanks for your input. For the record I do have a weight distributing system with my trailer which I plan on using. I plan on not traveling with any fluids in the tanks since I am mostly camping at property in which my parents own, everything we need is already there. So I strictly plan on keeping the camper as empty as possible when I haul it. Just a couple suitcases mainly. Anything else we need can be purchased when we get to the property. Thanks again, Rob
  2. Any update on installing the Class III hitch and a weight distributing system on your Ford Edge? I am doing the same this week and am curious about how it works and pulls. How much weight are you pulling?
  3. Thanks for your detailed installation process. I am looking at towing a travel trailer just like your's in the picture. Its a 24' Jayco eagle super lite. dry weight is 3720lbs and a hitch weight of 465lbs. What are the weight specifications of your trailer? Do you think I would have any problem towing a trailer with a Curt Class III hitch and electronic braking? Thanks, Rob
  4. No I dont have the message center. Its not included in the SE. Therefore when fuel is low is just displays a light on the fuel guage. No audible sound that Fuel is low.
  5. My wife drives this car so the more warnings the better. I still get chimes for seatbealt.
  6. I have a 2008 Ford Edge SE and it does not have the onboard computer that would normally warn you that the Fuel is low. I dont get any audible indicator that I am low on Fuel, just a silent low fuel light. If I am not looking at the Fuel guage often I dont have any indicator that I am low on Fuel . Is there supposed to be an audible low fuel sound for the 2008 Edge SE when I dont have the onboard computer? If not, This is a major oversite by Ford. Thank you, Rob Peters
