Factory.

Every so often (50/50) when I use the foot activation for the power liftgate the trunk will open but the alarm will go off until I hit the unlock button on the remote. The key fob is on me, and it recognizes it b/c the liftgate is opening... is there something I'm doing wrong that's causing the alarm to go off? Kinda annoying when my hands are full and I'm using the feature and the horn is blaring >.< 2016 Edge Titanium 2.0

Of course a few days after I do it the "unofficial" way - it gets released. Lol

@Ray thanks so much for the links a few pages back, I updated my software this morning and installed the needed USB hub in my '16 w/o Nav and it worked like a charm. This is a great upgrade for me - especially since I don't have a native nav unit. Putting apple maps in the display is so much better than watching through my phone etc. I did the FAT32 formatting of the usb stick, unzipping etc on my mac using OS X 10.12 and it went w/o a hitch.
