Do you mean the 3 nuts that hold the strut in? If so, I checked them myself and they are tight, although I don't know what the proper torque spec is.
Or the nut that holds the spring top hat?
totally sounds like the top nut wasn't tightened all the way. which essentially means your installer is gonna have to take them back out

A creaking noise more accurately describes it, definitely not clicking. The H &R springs didn't come with a new boot, so I assume the OEM boot was reused. Since the boot is rubber, I'm not sure it could cause a creaking sound when I turn the wheel.
Is it a clicking type sound? Usually that means there is a seating problem. Assuming the springs are correctly installed, the seat/bearings might need some lubrication to quiet it down.
If it is more of a creaking noise, the H&R boot might be longer than OEM. Lube the boot and the bump stop, in and out for both, and lube the actual strut where the bottom of the boot sits. Also, lube the strut since it is possible it was catching on the strut.
A couple of solutions that have worked. Assuming correct installation.

2016 Sport. Springs installed yesterday and upon driving home heard this metallic sound from both front sides plus you can feel it in the steering wheel upon turning. Common? What to do? Plan on returning to installer next week but wanted your ideas first. Thanks for any suggestions.

Great write up! Like the ingenuity. Benefit may be small but has to be better than nothing.

That looks soooo much better
Mine are flat black but I'm actually thinking of removing both bezels and replacing each bezel with 2 exhaust tips from my departed M3. Want the quad exhaust tip look. Just unsure of how to connect the 2 tips to the single OEM exhaust pipe on each side. Any ideas appreciated!
Put on the gloss black finished exhaust bezels (red was hideous). No more chrome to speak of of the exterior, just red and black.

Thank you very much!
I look to yelp.com and repairpal.com to locate well-liked service shops in my area. Maybe that will help you as well.

Ordered the springs from Vaccar, they have been delivered to my place in FL but I'm away for 2 more days. Any suggestions on where to do the installation? I usually do everything on my cars in NJ, but the Edge is at a condo in Pinellas County, FL and the association frowns on shade tree mechanics like myself.

Now yer talkin......I did mine with plastidip along with the "Edge" and "Sport" emblems. The gloss wrap should look great.
I don't like it at all...I'm going to re-wrap them in gloss black. They should still be noticeable as exhaust bezels against the matte black plastic of the surrounding body, but also match the other gloss black trim of the car. $11 worth of vinyl and a man hour or two is all it takes. Vinyl is great for certain things...its nice to try stuff out on the cheap that is easily reversible

Too ricey for me but if you like them that's what matters

Mine looks the same as yours.....either we both are missing something or that's normal?

If true, 90% would be pretty, pretty good.

Yup, 2 valve system. I have zero miles with it installed, so it'll be awhile before I drain it. Car sits idle as I'm away a lot. I wish there was a way to tell how much it actually catches.....30%, 70%, 5%? Who knows? I installed a can on another NA car and it seems to work well but again, what percentage is it actually catching? Never seen an advertised amount probably because there is considerable blow by which would hurt sales.

Sorry for the crappy pics, will take better shots when I replace some of the clamps with shrink wrap. This is the generic kit from RX Speed Works. Tommy Thomsen answered all of my many questions concerning the install, given the provided instructions were not Edge specific. It took me a while to route the hoses under the engine cover as I wanted a clean install. I think I mounted the can in the only available vertical real estate, hope it works out OK.

Update: the bearing under the spring top hat was misaligned. Now that it is properly aligned and reinstalled, all is good.
