Hi, I have a 2016 Ford Edge, today while driving my back window shattered...apparently it's related to this recall, not sure why it says backlight...it was the entire back window not just a light. They told me it had something to do with the rear wiper motor and corrosion causing the issue.
The dealer has been very accommodating and requested a rental for me to be paid by Ford while mine is being repaired since the window is on back order. I was pretty irked that it took roadside assistance 49 minutes to call me back after I left my number. I had already got the window taped up and was getting ready to drive it to the dealer myself.
