My rattle was there for about a week and went away. Came back for a 1 day visit and left again and hasn't returned. The dealer told me to stop by when it does it and they will look at it and order parts. But, hasn't happened again.

The "noise" I hear is a bad wheel bearing. I had my suspicion that it wasn't the sensors....but they told me different. It is in now to get it changed.

Anybody have a problem with their glass roof rattling? Mine just started this week. Anyone else have this?

Dealer got me in first thing Friday morning and checked it out. THey said they had to order a couple of ABS sensors, but was safe to drive....just no TC. It will take about a week to get them in. He also said that the noise I am hearing is related...we'll see.

Yesterday, our TC and ABS light came on. The TC does not work now. For about the last 3 weeks, I have been hearing a noise in the front area, likely pass. side. It increases with speed. It has a bit of a growling noise, as if it was a tire noise. I rotated the tires about 1 1/2 weeks ago and the noise stayed. Now the TC goes out. I will be contacting the dealer Friday morning to take it in. Any ideas on what happened with the TC? The ABS seems to work although the light is on.

I tried it a bit. It seems to be going into 5th. Usually around 35-45 MPH, under normal accel.

Mine is while under smooth reg. accel. Not a hard accel. ....at least I haven't heard it there. Maybe I'll try it in a bit. I'll try different speeds.

Which overdrive....not sure. Either 4th or 5th gear. I usually hear it around 40-45 MPH. I don't drive it much, my wife does. But when I do, I hear it. Does it really matter which gear? BTW...FWD.

We are getting a low sounding whine when going into OD. Haven't had it to a dealer though. I hate getting the same old "could not verify".

Thanks. But if I can verify the part number, it will save me around $55 by getting it through the employee parts program. Rediculous!! Anyone with the correct part number?

Hi all Does anybody have the direct replacement part number for the keyfob transmitter for our Edge? I called the parts program hotline to order one and they show two different keys for the Edge. One is a 1 button and the other a 6 button. Neither would fit the correct description. I called the dealer and they want like $90 for the key alone. Anyone know for sure? or if one of the above is the correct one? Thanks ............and yes, we lost a key! Have to get it programmed......

I have to ask.....and I posted on the BON board too....Does your Edge have a cubby hole on both sides in the rear area? We finally bought an Edge, Dark Ameth. with Charcoal Leather-SEL +, and ours only has a cubby on the drivers side. A co-worker has a + also and he has one on both sides, but has the lighter interior. Hmmmm...

Why is it that you cannot get the rear enter. system in the rear with the Vista roof? Doesn't Ford know how to put them in the back of the headrests? That would even clear the view for the rear view mirror. I would have thought this would have been an option. Seems to me like they are missing the boat on a fully optioned vehicle.

HI First post....and a few questions..... What did Oakville make before the Edge? Where is the CX7 built? I got to sit in an Edge on Sunday. We had an openhouse at our plant and they had one there. It was very nice. Had plenty of pass. room. I put the drivers seat where I'd like it and the backseat legroom was very good for the size. Looks awesome. I might have found a replacement for my 03 Tauras. Great Job guys!!
