Just got my 2018 Edge Sport 19,100 miles...(GPS quits tracking/ Voice command breaking up and unusable/Sync 3 VERY Slow when using controls on touch screen) back from dealership. The Dealership did a hard reset, checked for codes in the APIM and half a dozen other tests that showed nothing was wrong!! I had to complaint to FORD and it still took 2 weeks to get Ford to put a new APIM in and when they did WALA! it is now working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
