  1. We bought it on a Sunday (back in february) and by Tuesday it was ready to go and we drove off :D . Total wait was about 40 hours
  2. Saleen: Great job on them double douce. How did the HID KIT upgrade job go?
  3. I did mine in March and posted pictures in early April.. Here is my original post from 4-8-2007 http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?sho...=473&hl=hid
  4. I did about 2 months and 1/2 months ago.. when I first purchased DA EDGE and here is my original post from April 8th, 2007 2 weeks after my install. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?sho...=473&hl=hid I purchased them on Craiglist and installed them myself
  5. Very Nice.. I like that lowered look. I wish I can lower mine, but my wife also drives it and she hates lowered cars.. LOL Props to you pal.
  6. Yeap Craiglist. Many sellers in my araa had them available and I went after the best price. You might want to check out this guys that ship for free. http://www.autolightings.bravehost.com/ Just remember to also purchase the Relay Kit along with the HID Kit
  7. I did, and looks awesome too. Here is my post with images. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?showtopic=473 I used some 6000k's and Relays ...
  8. Nice one pal. Just add the HID like I did and your ride will shine at night.
  9. 1. No flashes from other cars whatsoever that I have noticed. 2. I spent $200.00 for the Kit and Relays. (Normal price for the ones I got is $350.00) and purchased from craiglist. 3. Relay Kits are needed in some cars with AUTO LIGHTS, but not all of them. Edge needed them. Hope this helps
  10. First of all, Happy Easter for those who celebrate it. I was able to get a nice Sony digital camera, and here are the images from my Edge with the HID lights. I never got any message about having the wrong lights whatsoever. Night driving is awesome now. As a matter of fact, I was riding side to side with a Lincoln MKX as we looked like twins. Both my HID and the MKX were as bright as the other. My HID lights looks as equal as the factory MKX do. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to have the MKX look with THE EDGE. Just remember, when you order your HID kit, get the 6000k H11 kit + a pair of Relay Kit to make the HID work perfectly. Enjoy.
  11. I was looking into the Sony DSC-W55B, so maybe this weekend I will have it. Stay tuned.
  12. The kit I purchased comes with a Relay Kit that makes the ballast connect directly to the Edge's battery, and avoids any problems with flickering and or message errors. My HID kits kicks some serious behind, makes my EDGE loOk just like the MKX
  13. If you go above 6000k then yes, they are not street legal. The ones I purchased are the ones used for Audi and BMW which are rated at 4300K. 8000K and above are too blue and 10000K + are purple which are pretty much not legal.
  14. Ok here it how I installed them. I used a larger image from a different brand that consists of the same hardware type. The Yellow arrow points to where the EDGE's headlight connector goes into.
