Plenty of room in the back. Went car camping with my wife. We both slept in the back with our legs stretched out. We're both 6 feet tall. We even put down the passenger seat and set up a laptop for DVD viewing. I'd be afraid to scratch the leather of the back seats as far as a stroller goes.

OK, I love the Edge. Great vehicle. However, I want to increase the feedback to the steering wheel and improve handling. Any ideas on where I can start? Or is there just nothing on the market to get me goin? Handling is what I'm all about.

Anyone install HIDs yet? If so, where did you get em from?

That's awesome. The leasing deals on the Edge right now is nuts. Can't believe I got it for what I spent. My wife was thinking about picking up a fusion. I wonder if I can get a great deal on that too since Ford is really trying to move cars right now.

Agreed. My wife and I actually feel comfort in the Edge being built so sturdy. Now a days its just great to not have plastic cars. I love the weight of the doors and the hatch.

heh, it was in a straight line and there were no vehicles in the area to hit other than each other. Two lane straight away without any crossroads. I'm here to discuss performance/customization issues, not to get lectured on vehicle saftety, otherwords i'd go to Soccermom's website. I'm too old for that.

OK, so I was on a straightaway in palo alto yesterday with a friend of mine on the way to breakfast, when a guy in a black 2007 escalade with a girl in the passenger side pulls up and gives me the "look." The light turns green and we floor it. I'm thinking he's got a lot of power, but he's also got a lot of weight. I get an early lead of about a half car length, from that point on we got and gave a few inches through 60 mph. at 80mph I looked back and he was still right there with me about a half car length behind. his passenger door was lined up pretty good with my left rear tire. a few secs later my friend leans over at the speedometer and goes "Wow, 105 thats the fastest I've driven!" I got to about 110 when we started breaking for the next streetlight. We laughed and waved farewell. I was impressed. The Edge maintained the lead against the Escalade to 110 MPH. At first I was skeptical, but it is what it is.

ME and the Mrs. are loving our edge, but no kids for a few more years, :-P
