Just as I suspected, I got everything wired and working while all of the factory speakers are still kicking. Just the sub kicks harder, you absolutely do not need an amp bypass don't waste 250$
The make adapters to tie in new sets of rca cables which would in turn feed your amp...seems fairly simple I've wired hem before....this bypass thing though. Hmmm...I'm going to keep the factory sub installed and wire up the sundown as well
Anyone know the factory mounting depth off the top of their heads of the 8" rear sub? More or less not the sub, but the depth from front to back.....got the wife a sundown 8" that's 5-1/8" deep need to see what modifications I need to do if any to make fit
Working on doing aftermarket sub in wife's edge, if I unplug the sub for the factory amplified stereo and just remove it. will the rest of 8 interior speakers still work or is there some kind of trip mode?
