  1. I did receive the pins from Molex. Been so busy with work though I haven't had time to play with the Edge.
  2. Finished the Sync3 update to my wifes 2015 Titanium tonight. I used a flush mount screen out of an escape. All i had to do was drill and tap holes in the new housing for the mounting brackets and everything fit perfectly. Didn't have to trim the dash at all.
  3. Ordered some sample pins from Molex. Will see if they are correct.
  4. Found the data sheet for the connector. Can't seem to find the contacts for sale anywhere...
  5. Has anyone used a flush screen instead of a recessed screen? It looks like the mounting brackets mount to the op and bottom of the screen, not the sides. And it also looks like one could just trim 1/8 inch of plastic off each side of the mounting location to get the flush screen to mount up. If it even needs trimmed.
  6. Thanks for the link! The Edge manual does not show anything to do with the fog lights. But both the Edge and Fusion use the same BCM. So I compare the same diagrams from one manual to the other. Then since I already added the switch and enabled the fogs with ForScan, I hooked my tester up to those two pins and verified that they do truly turn on and off with the fog light button. This is from the Edge Manual: This is from the Fusion manual: Here is the switch page from the Fusion manual: This is the switch from the Edge manual:
  7. I got great news. After $60 in manuals off ebay and about 30 minutes of testing I found the factory outputs from the BCM for the front fog lights. After adding a factory style switch, and enabling fog lights in the BCM using ForScan, you need to add wires to pins 5 and 12 in the connector circled on the BCM. This is from the Edge manual. This is from the Fusion manual. I am now in the process of trying to find where to buy the pins for the connector.
  8. Thanks. That was what I figured. After spending a great deal of time doing more research I found that I will probably have to go the eBay route. I was trying to get it from LKQ because they quoted me $200. But when you look at all the units they sell, they have the Sync2 part numbers listed. Their cross reference is wrong so when you search for 2016-2019 radio/nav, it gives 2014 part numbers. So I guess I am stuck paying $500 for a non-nav unit on eBay.
  9. Does anyone have some part numbers for the APIM module? I would like to upgrade my wife's 2015 Edge Titanium to Sync 3 with Nav, but when I contact salvage places, they want the part number off the module. I found the following google doc list and have been through quite a few Ford parts websites. I am pretty sure the middle digits are 14G371, but I do not know what the first digits and last digits need to be. Any help would be appreciated. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sPYdxO3XHZ1Uz1LngcQpIj4Xu-vDu1yzZyr_B1ueGwM/edit#gid=0
  10. If I wanted to install "factory style" lights instead of mounting aftermarket fog/driving lights then yes, I would have to do one of those two options. I am making custom LED lights to fit in the smaller opening under the accent lights in the bumper. The angle they will face will make them perfect for cornering lights.
  11. I'm also looking to find a wiring diagram for the front end of my 2015 Edge Titanium. I also added the fog light switch and enabled the fog lights through ForScan. I'm sure the wires are there in the main harness for the fog lights, just like my Fusion, just not in the current bumper harness. I just have no idea where to start looking without any type of schematics.
  12. Well, after the dealer quoted me $850 per rim for their "cheapest" 18" wheels and not finding anything on Craigslist or eBay, I ended up with a package from tirerack.com. $1260 for the whole package (wheels, tires, lug-nuts, TPMS sensors, mounted/balanced) delivered to my door the next day. Not bad.
  13. Thanks for the link. Guess theres no point to complaining about it to the dealer.
  14. Got the Edge back today. Can anyone tell me if the back of the seats are cooled, or just the bottoms?
  15. Exactly what I was thinking. Not like it was hard to miss. Ford Corporate is definitely going hear about the quality service department at this dealership.
  16. It has the 3.5. Glad to hear the updated seals are doing the job. Searching the web I found a lot of bad stuff about the Edge PTUs. I will definitely be regularly changing the fluid.
  17. I've actually been looking for a few weeks for Edge wheels. And I have been looking very regularly for Fusion wheels for the last 3 years. It seems the Edge and Fusion are not commonly "accessorized" vehicles around here. So nothing shows up on Craigslist or FB. Looking on Ebay, I am lucky to find a single factory wheel for under $150. I'll probably just end up giving the steel wheels a try.
  18. Searched through all the wheel and tire threads, figured I would bring this one back to life since it seems most revelant. We just purchased a 2015 Edge Titanium with the 20" wheels. Ohio roads are terrible in the winter and don't want to risk damaging them. Has anyone found an inexpensive 18" rim to use with snow tires? I ran a similar rim to the one linked below on my wife's G6 for years and it held up great. The 17" ones for her G6 were only $40 a piece. http://www.wheelsexpressonline.com/new-18-5x108-5x425-black-steel-wheel-rim-fits-ford-lincoln-185108m-185108m Anyone used these?
  19. Been browsing the form for a couple weeks while trying to decide on a new vehicle for the wife. Pulled the trigger on a Ford CPO 2015 Edge Titanium and decided to join the forum. Sadly, while looking it over I found the PTU to be leaking. So it now has an appointment at the dealership to get it looked at. Hopefully this is not a sign of things to come,
