Thank you. Yes... it seems to drive fine in our snowy conditions. i have experienced my left windshield blade intermittently “studdering” across windshield. Today the 2 blades litterly almost locked up together since the left blade is not functioning correctly. Any suggestions?

Is this something I don’t need since I have a 2016 Edge sport? Mine comes with Sync built into it, correct?

I’m in the Chicago area and we are under a deep freeze.... schools cancelled, businesses closed, everyone urged to stay home. My car is in my garage and won’t be moving out for anytime soon. It’s just white... no stripes or logos on the car... ?. im trying to update my Sync3 software from v2 to v3. According to the directions, the car must be running with my iPhone plugged into the cars USB port for about 1 hour...? I had my iPhone plugged into the cars USB port with the engine on and I couldn’t get the phone synced. I’m assuming because I need to download Sync 3...???

Hello - I just purchased my 2016 Ford Edge Sport a couple of weeks ago. I’m reading the manuals and trying to figure ou all the settings. Much more complicated than my 1997 Ford Explorer.... Any advice??

Ohhhh..., got it! Did you not want the Panoramic roof? what island are you on? Also, I saw the link to the Ford Edge Facebook group. I was not aware that it existed. I put in a request to join the group. Im reading the manuals. There is sooooo much info to absorb!

Ok. I will contact my local dealership to see if it’s still an open recall on my car. Is the car even safe to drive before the air bags are replaced?

Does this mean that the recall was not taken care of? I just purchased it as a Ford Certified vehicle. Would they have not taken care of the recall?

I just purchased a 2016 Ford Edge Sport. How can I tell if my airbags need to be replaced? When I put in my VIN, I couldn’t understand if my car is a part of the recall or not.

I did purchase a 2016 Ford Edge Sport without the Panoramic roof.

The only issue is that I want a 2016 Sport WITHOUT the Panaramic Roof and I haven’t been able to find one without the Panaromic Roof

Thanks for everyone’s input so far. I am considering a 2016 Ford Edsge Sport with almost 34,000 miles. It is Ford Certified. It has equipment group 400A which includes the Cold Weather Package- heated steering wheel and all-weather mats. The price is $27,500. Does this sound like a good price for this car?

would you still need to take a car to an independent mechanic even if it’s a Ford Certied car? also.... if the configuration and mileage you were looking to purchase was an 8-hour drive away... would you do that to test drive and possibly buy a used car?

Is there any difference between an AUTOCHECK car report vs a CARFAX Report? I’m seeing some dealerships that provide AUTOCHECK instead of CARFAX.

I just did some research on the 2016 Ford Edge. I was disappointed to read consumer complaints. I found one on a dealer website and when I checked the CARFAX, it had LEMON on its title. Not looking too promising....

Ok. So I should be looking at the 2016 and check to see if the throttle bottle issue has been taken care of. What about the issue of windows fogging up and defrosters not working? Also, i have no car “fixing” skills. I’ve been reading some of the posts and it appears that people are doing a lot of their own fixes.... would I need those skills? Thank you!

Hello- I’ve been researching cars and thought I’d like to buy a 2015 Sport. I started to find complaints about the engine coming to a complete stall when driving. How do I know if the vehicle I purchase will have this problem? Has anyone here experienced this problem? Help....?
