Just traded my 7th Subaru for a loaded, very clean 2016 Edge sport one week ago. Just noticed when stopping at intersections, the recognizable smell of oil burning on a hot tailpipe. Jacked the car up, and didn't have to look too hard to see the oil pan is wet with oil. I googled the oil leak problem, and found this forum, with many members that have the same problem, with apparently no help from ford. The SUV was a certified used car, so I will go back to them Monday, to see what kind of response I get. I'll keep this forum posted as to what happens. Larry

Thanks' I'll try the dealer tomorrow, and if they want to charge me, ( Most dealer service, won't even write you a ticket for less then $125 now ) I'll replace the gasket seal myself. That way I can really let it finish dripping, and get a good dry surface to work with. Does anyone know what the seal part number is? Larry
