  1. My wheels have those little weights for balancing on them. If you have these, how have you been cleaning them around them without dislodging them? And further to that, I have never had painted wheels before. What are you cleaning them with - My go-to is Maguires Gold shampoo, and I may touch up with the purple(Forgot the name )Chemical guys detailer. The picture is after a touchless wash, still filthy, but the weather has been terrible.
  2. Hi managed to speak with the dealer they confirm not how it should be I had to provide perspective photos I'm not sure if you can zoom in enough though - it's front passenger and rear driver's side. https://share.icloud.com/photos/0beMfzU7u6lkK6Bn1MPMWTqPA
  3. Ok, cheers - nothing worse than babbling on the phone and not knowing what it's called.
  4. Yes, thats the one I'm using does a beautiful job not sure if this is the culprit on the wheel as others have suggested could be anything that's on my hands.
  5. Yikes - I guess im going to have to be more picke and dilute the cleaners as has been suggested below.
  6. Hi, and thanx everyone, for responding- the edge was leased, so I swapped it because the warranty was up anyway - straight into a new problem on a 2022 Edge ST anyone know what this strip is called ?and is it supposed to look like this?it appears fastened to the car but its all bunched up?
  7. Is the brand-new 2022 ST rubber funky at the bottom door? (200klm on the clock)I can't get hold of anyone at the dealer, and this is freaking me out. in case the photo is weird, it's the inside of the door well, the wobbly mess, I think, seals the door bottom. Does anyone know what this strip is called, and is it supposed to look like this? It doesn't seem loose, just bunched up.
  8. Hey Handifiler, yes, this is a great product. The last big cleanup I did was the entire interior with this excellent finish. I got out my inspection light today, and the wheel has something weird going on. I don't know if it's a leather cover or faux leather, but it looks worn like cheap furniture not missing fabric like the decor wore off. I will try a photo tomorrow when it's light.
  9. I had forgotten about this - it was a social media photoshop composite I did for something I can't remember what -- but that is my edge though - glad you liked it.
  10. I only ever use premium (Mcguires, Autoglym or Chemical guys)cleaners etc but lately, the steering wheel seems to be remaining sticky regardless of cleaning its a 2019 edge titanium - anyone else had this and did you find a solution? And yes I stopped eating In the car - Lol.
  11. You can't go far wrong with https://www.meguiars.com/#/ or Autoglym - however, you can't rule out the premium stuff I had some wax from the chemical guys which was really something else on white 2013 edge. On the flip side, I tried some entry-level products and did not see a whole lot of difference I think keeping the vehicle clean is the main thing and avoiding brush car washes especially on black.
  12. I did not know there was a sliding guide or lock gadget on the side of the box and somehow I annihilated it the first day. It opens and closes but it spit out chunks of plastic which im guessing is a bad thing - ill have the dealer check it out when I go for service - pretty sure it was my fault I totally did not know there was a guide of any kind that was in need of addressing.
  13. I had 2013 for about 3 years no problems at all mechanically and it was a very nice looking vehicle white with a lot of chrome(SEL). Handled a little boaty In town that's why I got a 2016 Fusion Titanium it was quite a bit easier to maneuver and was quite sporty the Fusions appearance appealed to me originally and I did not expect the sporty feel but I really liked it.
  14. Hi all - hoping to contribute and learn this is my 2nd Edge and quite the difference In the new one all positive except the glove box - but that's another story. I have been an amateur detailer for over a decade and picked a few things up along the way hoping to share moving forward.
