Has your dealer checked the sensor (or whatever it is) in the ignition that causes the vehicle to unlock if you leave and try to lock it from the door while exiting?? I hope this makes sense. Just a thought.

Hello all, I have a 2007 Ford Edge and absolutely love it. The problem is that I left my dog in the car alone (apparently he developed separation anxiety) and he chewed through to the two rear seat belts. I order replacements from my dealership and thought I would tackle the installation myself . . . but removing the paneling is a little daunting. I'm afraid to just pull as I don't want to break anything. Anyone have any suggestions on how to remove the panel to get to the rear seat belt assembly? Thanks!
