  1. Has this battery drain problem ben solved? I don't see any posts for a couple years. We purchased a used (19000 mile) 2019 Ford Edge Titanium in October of 2019. We love the car. Friday morning we woke up to a dead battery. We drive it most every day and has performed excellent. No evidence anything had been left open, on or plugged in. Battery read 5.5 volts. Nothing came to life when I opened the door, all sorts of courtesy lights and dash lights usually spring to life. I did notice a small red light flashing on the shifter knob but could see which light before it too went dead. I charged the battery and all has worked perfectly since...although it has only been two days. The Ford dealer offered to send a service truck over to jump start or tow the car to the dealer. I declined this time, he seemed more than willing to give us a new battery. My gut feel is, there is no issue with the battery...something drained it overnight and I am hoping to find out what. Back in the day, a standard dash meter was an amp meter...this problem could sure use an amp meter to measure current flowing from the battery. With all the Display options and sensors, I am surprised that useful piece of data isn't made available to the owner.
