Right but they likely just sucked the fluid out which won't remove all of the metallic debris from the case.
Note that the PN for the cooler plug shown in the diagram is incorrect, the -B shown is actually the fill plug.
SMH..
Not sure what the -B is in diagram. Can you clarify?

I haven't . . Love the car. 2021 ST.
PS they want it back??? Never heard of this on a used car. I have seen them send techs and engineer to inspect, tear down at dealer site, had this on vette i bought that wouldn't shift correctly.
Are they buying it back from you or properly compensating you?
He said they want the radiator back.

Have had the battery replaced once. Battery has gone dead a couple of times. Get Ford messages sometime about remote being shut down. Never have got the message before battery dead in the morning. I carry a small jump start unit and have used it after overnight. 30,000 miles 2020 ST. Never had a new car do this before..

Recommend you stay away from the Sylvania Silverstars. (Or any other bulb that has a bluish tint. Real waste of money).

Not sure about 2014 Edge. There is a You Tube that shows an Escape. Not sure if the steps are the same for all Fords though.
This worked on my EDGE or at least the battery light flashed as in the video.

The only cars I have owned that had tow hooks were BMWs. Never had a Ford with one and have owned many Fords. Never really had a use for one.

Probably shop needs to test the CCA rating and determine that the rating, when fully charged, is less than 50% in order to provide warranty exchange. (Service rep is probably just testing voltage).
No he was not just testing voltage. He had a tester that did everything and even printed out results.

If it is bent how does moving to the other side help? It is still bent?

Anything with a dealer is a PITA the dealer I went to checked battery using the guy that checks the cars in and checks batteries routinely, Funny thing was when battery failed his test it was not good enough to replaced battery under warranty and had to be taken to shop for further testing and then they replaced the battery. If they had just tested battery routinely during service check in they would have told me is was bad if no warranty was involved with no further testing.

Actually my question was why did the remote still start the car after notification of shutdown. Found out today that it did indeed stop remote starting using Ford Pass but not using the remote (key).
When the battery went bad in November the car did nothing as to warning of shutting down. Just died overnight and could not even unlock doors electrically.

After setting for few days we usually get the Ford Pass message about car going into deep sleep mode and remote will not start vehicle and locks will not work remotely. Tried it this time and remote does every thing normal including remote start???

My 2020 St with 20,000 miles has developed a loud rattling catalytic muffler also. After looking at parts manual it is not the cat but is part of the complete back section of exhaust which includes muffler. Rattle is in the front section can. Have an appointment with dealer.

I was able to reset using the procedure found on the internet and it actually worked and easy to do.

Need someone that can reset the BMS on my car after dealer replaced battery and appears they did not reset it. Dealer is 100 miles round trip from us.

Went out this morning hit remote button and nothing, battery dead, it gave us no warning what so ever. Battery is 23 months old. Went to dealer and got a new battery under warranty

all gen 2+ have drain plugs on the PTU. they might be well concealed by the downpipe, but they are there.
Not true when you say gen 2+. My 2020 St does not have a drain plug.

All I remember is hearing the fans in the seats when on cool. Fan noise is very easy to hear and noticeable. Will be listening later today to see if there is some white noise also.
Took the car to town today, tried the heated seats, turned on ac while sitting stopped, I can not detect any extra sound they are both very quite when a/c fan is not turned up. Turned on cooled sets also at a stop and definite fan noise at the seat backs. Fan noise not noticeable while moving.

Vehicle averages 30.5 mpg at 65 mph. No hot rodding!! It's quick off the line, but we've never pushed it.
That sounds more like an ST line car with the 2.0 engine.

Would love to be able to add some gauges on the useless right side small nav screen.
Trailer lights coming by them selves?

There is a computer upgrade that will fix this. My 20ST also did this until dealer did update. Ford issued a bulletin or some service info on this.
