  1. Oh, OK. Thx. Must have got the feature confused with my previous Honda CR-V, Fit that had the feature. 2021 Mustang Mach-E Owner's Manual mentions the feature!
  2. Subject says it all. Car gets driven about 25-50 miles a week, all short trips. Unheated garage in NC. Suspect low battery voltage may be putting the sensors to sleep to save battery? Any ideas would be appreciated.
  3. Thanks for the reply! Not a surprise. However, I did improve the vertical, by raising the top of the beam about 1.5" when illuminating a wall 25 feet in front of the Edge in a dark, level parking deck, using some masking tape for reference. Simple allen wrench adjustment, found via YouTube. great help:
  4. I read on the Ford site: Bi-LED headlamps incorporate both the high and low beams into a single projection, creating one light source for each side of the vehicle. However, my previous Honda CR-V Touring sure had a wider high beam that was so much better for spotting curbside animals at night on country roads. This 75-yr. old really misses that Honda feature/benefit. Go to 1:50 at: https://youtu.be/v4f6k8ZmMyE Anyone done any mods to their Bi-LED headlamps to get a wider peripheral lighting?
  5. Gee, after doing the big update my backup camera has not had a single failure, that is part of a recall: https://www.consumerreports.org/car-recalls-defects/ford-and-lincoln-recall-2020-models-for-faulty-backup-cameras/ Prior to the software upgrade camera was failing about 50% of the time I put vehicle in reverse!
  6. Oh. The rest of my Sync3 stuff gets updated via wi-fi, while 2020 Edge is parked in garage. I read somewhere that NAV is the only item in Sync3 that is not updated via wi-fi directly to vehicle. Display in car mentions that everything is up to date. https://help.ford.com/update-sync tells me Your SYNC system (SYNC3 v3.4.20136) is up to date. after I typed in my VIN.
  7. Did not see any message while I was driving (ther than the one about software updating), and later (after stopping and starting engine) I looked at the "About Sync" screen and it showed my new Navigation Maps Version was NA 119; it was formerly NA 118!
  8. Did my NAV update yesterday. 12G download to a USB stick, and then had to unzip it and move one of the files on the stick to another folder. Then, put USB stick in vehicle drove for about 35 minutes for the complete update! (2020 Ford Edge SEL and the first update was complimentary.) Ford - Sync3 Map Update
  9. Yep, I've determined the audible tone is caused when the system detects a loss of quality pavement markings, based on some trips over this past weekend! | 11/13/2020: Can confirm it never beeps on newly-paved or recently-striped roads!
  10. Thanks for reply! I always turn off Auto Start-Stop right after starting the engine. Lane keeping works fine with Adaptive Cruise Control. It stays on after I get the unknown audible tone. When brief audible tone comes on: I also see steering wheel symbol color briefly change to yellow while I hear the tone. I'll try driving on some newer roads with nice new pavement markings! Or, maybe I got to grip the steering wheel tighter?
  11. Owned it for less than a week. Random audible tones while driving with ACC, lane keeping on. Any ideas on this would sure be appreciated. It does not give the audible tone if I drive with the cruise control off.
