I've been experiencing the same thing with my wife's edge since April. I would also like to know the answer to this question. I always thought it was normal b/c of the type of shifter it is.

Congrats on your new Edge!! My wife and I just bought one the other day. SEL, Creme Brule (SP?). Baby on the way in AUG. We looked at the Pacifica and liked the sporty feel and look of the Edge better. Only one I've seen in FT. Hood area. Where in TX are you located? Gotta start the wave for Edges in TX, (My other vehicle is a jeep) V/R Scott
