I've had no problems getting my Moto Droid to pair on first go. address book downloaded, but what I've seen is that while my phone said "other/mobile", Sync will have problems w/the phone# to list it as "mobile" and you need to say "other". I fixed this by going back up into Google addressbook, setting the phone# type to MOBILE, and then resync my addr book to my phone & then to my Edge. works now!

i've had my 2008 Edge LTD (AWD) since 30 JAN 09 where I bought it used (13 miles) from the dealer. great deal, love the car. However, my wife & I were on a road trip (<130mi each way) this weekend and I started hearing a loud knock coming from what sounded like the right rear of my Edge (particularly when I was going over larger bumps). It got progressively worse. on the way home i was hill control wasn't preventing rollback. We stopped (my 2yr old was getting antsy) for an hour and when reversing out I heard a whine coming from the back. when we started to accelerate onto the on ramp, my traction control came on (flashing) and prevented me from accelerating. very weird -> I had to turn traction control off to get home. Needless to say, I've got an appt scheduled tomorrow w/the dealer. Thankfully this is CPO & I've still got 1.5yrs left (and 15k) on the bumper-to-bumper warranty. UPDATE : dealer fixed the issue under warranty the day I took it in. Turns out the bolts on the right rear wheel were loose. I bought the car used and have a feeling whoever had it prior did NOT torque down the bolts to the required setting. all bolts have been torqued down as per spec. no more issues.

sounds like me welcome fellow Edger. I'm pulling in about 17.4mpg. mostly city driving. 16 miles to work, 7 of them on the highway. and yeah, the stereo's pretty damn good!

1990, Fresno, CA. Filled up I think for $0.95/gal at an ARCO station (it was my step-mum's Olds Calais, 2dr). I used to deliver prescriptions for a pharmacy and remembered going into shock when the price of petrol went above $1. that cut into my Taco Bell budget! those were the days!

hey folks - I just picked up my "newish" 2008 Edge Limited AWD (13k miles, CPO) here in Issaquah, WA. Got a great deal on this black-on-black beauty. Loving the NAVI & SYNC. I traded in my 2000 Subaru Outback (which was a GREAT car for the last 9yrs) that had 97k miles on it -> just was getting a bit long in the tooth and was starting to cost more and more... Just drove it home tonight! She's a beaut! bought her after I had taken a ride in my mate's 07 Edge SEL+. just beautiful.
