Me and my 2014 Ford Focus say hello to all you enthusiasts. I am retired (3/20) and was happy with my frontier, diesel beetle and focus, then new baby arrived (son's) so a larger vehicle was demanded. I was looking to get a travel vehicle anyway so this blessed event just put buying on the front burner. I checked out many iterations of minivans,(yeck!) although the Honda Odyssey was great, then went crossover shopping, I'm 67 and have owned fords,gm (too many),dodge,vw vehicles. Always liked the look of the first gen ford suv. so that's what I ended up with. I am a shade tree mechanic, when I had better knee's and back. I can still do a brake job but its getting harder to get up and down off the floor. I've been on a few forums before and found them to be invaluable hopefully this one as well.
