  1. I'm having the same problem as well. Everything was fine up until a couple of days ago. On the way home from work I noticed that the battery symbol popped up on my dashboard. I found it odd but didn't really think that much of it. When I got home, I put the car in park and took the keys out of the ignition. I noticed I still had room in front me and so I decided to pull forward just a bit more. When I went to start my car it wouldn't turnover. It had enough power to run all of the accessories but not enough to start the car. I figured I needed a new battery so I bought a new one but on the way to work the battery symbol popped up on my dashboard again.

Don't believe Ford\Dealership claims of "LifeTime Fluids"!

Ok, I recently replaced the spark plugs and pcv valve. Besides that, looks like I have a lot of work ahead. Thanks for your input.

Is it all up to date for the previously required stuff?

    Coolant at 105,000?

The transmission fluid is 150,000 but that is pretty long. PTU and rear diff also at 150,000 if AWD. Serpentine accessory drive belt also 150,000

I’ve kept the oil changes up to date. Changing it every 6 months. I recently replaced the spark plugs as well. Oh and I did flush the coolant system a couple years back.

I have a 2009 Edge with a P0430 code (front bank catalyst efficiency). I want to start by changing the downstream oxygen sensor, which is very easily accessible. I want to use Ford parts or as close to their performance as possible.

What are the Ford part numbers for upstream and downstream oxygen sensors?

What company makes the Ford-branded O2 sensors? Bosch?

I wouldn't buy a Brand X sensor, but I can get an NGK 22500 with connector for $32.

Edited to add: I looked at the voltage outputs from all 4 sensors, and they are working great. It's the front catalyst that's not

  5. @enigma-2 I'm about to reach 124,000 miles. But as I previously stated, the last time I changed my oil was last year in July. So it's about time I change it again. Regarding the coolant, I've only changed it one time and that was in 2020 if im not mistaken.  Bro, did you really say I should consider changing the blinker fluid? Lmfao I have H11 LED headlights so I don't need Blinker Fluid.
