Fascinating! What would happen if you delete all the DTC's with an OBD2 scanner?

I'm having the same problem as well. Everything was fine up until a couple of days ago. On the way home from work I noticed that the battery symbol popped up on my dashboard. I found it odd but didn't really think that much of it. When I got home, I put the car in park and took the keys out of the ignition. I noticed I still had room in front me and so I decided to pull forward just a bit more. When I went to start my car it wouldn't turnover. It had enough power to run all of the accessories but not enough to start the car. I figured I needed a new battery so I bought a new one but on the way to work the battery symbol popped up on my dashboard again.

Can someone please help me? A couple of days ago I decided to open the sun roof all the way on my 2009 FORD EDGE LIMITED and it got stuck.

Don't believe Ford\Dealership claims of "LifeTime Fluids"!
Ok, I recently replaced the spark plugs and pcv valve. Besides that, looks like I have a lot of work ahead. Thanks for your input.- 1

Is it all up to date for the previously required stuff?
Coolant at 105,000?
The transmission fluid is 150,000 but that is pretty long. PTU and rear diff also at 150,000 if AWD. Serpentine accessory drive belt also 150,000
I’ve kept the oil changes up to date. Changing it every 6 months. I recently replaced the spark plugs as well. Oh and I did flush the coolant system a couple years back.

So my 2009 Edge Limited just reached 130,000 miles. Any recommendations maintenance wise?

Does anybody know where I can buy the chrome cadding for the 20" rim?

I use Mobile 1 10w-30 on mine.

If not, can I use a random bolt or would that cause the manifold not to seal properly?

Here's a link.

I have a 2009 Edge with a P0430 code (front bank catalyst efficiency). I want to start by changing the downstream oxygen sensor, which is very easily accessible. I want to use Ford parts or as close to their performance as possible.
What are the Ford part numbers for upstream and downstream oxygen sensors?
What company makes the Ford-branded O2 sensors? Bosch?
I wouldn't buy a Brand X sensor, but I can get an NGK 22500 with connector for $32.
Edited to add: I looked at the voltage outputs from all 4 sensors, and they are working great. It's the front catalyst that's not

My 2009 Edge Limited has the same problem. Also, it's always recommended to change both front and rear brakes. Same for the rotors. As for the rotors it depends how worn the are.

Where can I buy replacement bolts for this? I kind of snapped 2 of them when I was putting it back on.

@enigma-2 I'm about to reach 124,000 miles. But as I previously stated, the last time I changed my oil was last year in July. So it's about time I change it again. Regarding the coolant, I've only changed it one time and that was in 2020 if im not mistaken. Bro, did you really say I should consider changing the blinker fluid? Lmfao I have H11 LED headlights so I don't need Blinker Fluid.

Thank you for all of your inputs guys. I appreciate it.

I live in LA, and since my Edge has over 120,000 miles on it, I've been using 10w30 Full Synthetic.

I change the oil and filter every 6 months or so. As for the filter, I use the Motorcraft FL-500 I haven't changed it since last year in July so it's about time I get to it. I don't know if the previous owner had the water pump worked on or not.

Try replacing the switch. Amazon has it for around $20 bucks. If they still don't work, then replacing them would be your only option.

Quick question, which oil would you guys recommend for a 2009 Ford Edge Limited with 123,000+ miles? Lately, I have been using Mobile 1 High Mileage Full Synthetic. Any thoughts?

Does anyone know how much gap there should be between the fender and the front left door? I recently installed a new door on my 2009 Edge Limited but don't know how much gap there has to be all around the door.
-
You might have to replace the door lock/unlock button its self.

Awesome. Thank you.

Does anybody know what the torque specs are for the front door hinges? I recently replaced the front left door on my 2009 Edge Limited but im not sure how much the bolts on the hinges need to be tightened?

Interesting. I'll connect my OBD2 Scanner and see what I get. I'll keep you posted.
