  1. Actually the steering wheel needs to be tied off and anchored is such a manner that it holds the wheel where the tires are kept pointed straight. Our 2020 has the push to start button and does not have a steering wheel lock as such. I had read the etrailer post also. Thank you,
  2. Seems that the more I read, the more questions that come up. I have a 2020 Edge SE front wheel drive recently purchased. I am looking into possibly pulling it behind our motorhome with the use of a tow dolly. Tow dolly manufactures state that the steering wheel must be locked if using a swivel base plate tow dolly. However as you know, with the push button start Edge the steering wheel does not lock. I guess the way to over come this is to strap the steering wheel to hold it in place. I figure that I can run two straps through the little steering wheel spoke opening at the bottom of the steering wheel then tie them down at the right and left driver seat mount at the floor. Another issue is that the over all width of the Edge is with in a inch or two of the maximum allowable width per the tow dolly manufacture. With one manufacture I would be with in 1/10", which is way to close for my taste. Looks like for the greatest width and weight rating I will be going with the Master Tow 80THD with either electric or surge brakes. Surge brakes are a $350 upgrade over the electric brake model, but the surge brake includes a break away brake system where as I would have to purchase and install a break away system for the electric brake model. Does anyone have any experience in pulling an edge on a tow dolly that cares to chime and give me some feedback, pros, cons, suggestions? Thanks
  3. Without taxing my old brain at the moment, I can safely say counting 1 Mercury and 2 Lincoln the total would be in excess of 30. But then, I ain't so spring chicken either.
  4. I drive a 2019 F150 FX4 super crew, the wife drives a 2013 Taurus SHO. The Edge I picked up to have around as a spare vehicle, but it is really growing on me. For $23K and change for a new 2020SE, it was a no brainer purchase.
  5. Picked up a new 2020 Edge SE a couple of days ago. Wasn't really looking at buying an Edge, but the price made it too tempting to pass on considering the current car market prices. I will admit that the more I drive it, the more I am impressed. Fits right in the garage along side of our 2019 FX4 F150 crew cab, and the wife's 2013 Taurus SHO.
