Is this a mod that requires new mirrors, or can a kit be installed with the existing mirrors. I think this is a great safety mod and would like to add it to my Edge.

What scam are you talking about? How does FORD get any further ahead because the temperature is different? Could it possibly be something is wrong with you temperature control. You should seriously think about a class-action lawsuit, so you can lose. Then you will realize that you are WASTING everyone’s time with this rhetoric. Relax, he was just joking. My temp. reads 4 degrees warmer than it actually is, so you know what I do..........if it says 32 degrees, I do the math in my head and also with a calculator and a piece of paper and come to the conclusion that it is actually 28 degrees

How is there mud if the grounds frozen ? You left your car stranded for a week ? You say the closest a vehicle can get is 75 yards, so how the hell did you get to where your at ? Maybe you should just leave the car there and buy an '09 Edge for your wife.

I had the same exact problem. They replaced several parts, not just the camshaft position sensor. PM me and I will discuss this in further detail.

I definitely should have checked the level myself. This is the first car I have owned where I had the dealer change the oil and just assumed everything was being taken care of properly. I would like to confront the tech who actually put 9 quarts of oil in my car, punch him in his eye and take the $27.00 I spent on the oil change out of his pocket.

I refuse to pay $13 + a month for satellite when you drive under a leafless tree and the radio cuts out. I was not able to get through one song w/o it cutting out. I did really enjoy if for 3 months when it was FREE though.

I checked everything I could. Now I know why my gas mileage went down 2 mpg, the engine was moving 9 quarts of friggin' oil!

14,000 miles , about 1 month ago.

At 15,000 I decide to change my oil since I wanted to switch to Mobil 1 0W-20. I have a 7 quart drain pan which you think would be plenty to hold 5.5 quarts of oil. I take off the drain plug and oil begins draining....as the oil level continues to rise I start to panic. Luckily, I already had another pan under the car so I place that under the draining oil and slide the full to the brim 7 quart pan out of the way and place the other pan on the floor. It continued to drain another 1.5 quarts, and this was before I took the filter off !! This was almost 9 quarts of oil in the crankcase ! Needless to say I was pissed, and my Ford dealer will be getting a "nice" visit from me Monday morning. Sorry for the "rant" but I need to get some of this out before I go to the dealer....which will be the last time I have my car serviced there.

This is exactly how the invoice is written. I do believe these seals have to be installed properly in a sequence and my tech said it is a "tricky" procedure.

PTU leak @ 10,000 miles. Seals replaced......5,000 miles later, no more burning smell and no more leaks.

That sucks ! Let us know what the cause was and what the dealer did for you. I have had numerous problems but damnit, I love this car so much. Hang in there, I'm sure everything will be taken care of. :D

I used the ones from sportwing also. I got them without the chrome accent. Great customer service, and the kit comes with everything you need to install them. I actually got them to cover up the dent my wife put in the door.....for $110 shipped and painted to match your car, you can't beat that.

Fuel economy will be reduced. The more air exiting the vehicle, the more air and fuel the engine will crave. Also, the o2 sensors will compensate for this by richening up the fuel mixture.

The welds are going to rust, and that is not stainless steel, certainly not polished stainless steel. Stand 15 feet back from the rear of your car and tell me you cannot see the muffler.

Hangs too low, and whoever is behind you on the road, all they are going to see is a big ugly rusty muffler.

Nope. Yeah, if the color doesn't match perfectly, I'll be pissed. I wonder how easy the "2 wire" installation is going to be. I have read several write ups and it seems much more involved. I guess I will be the "guinea pig" for this set-up.
