  1. I wouldn't buy one. They look like a cheap stick on......wait a minute
  2. That cover looks cheap. BTW, the part that is going to get scratched/marred, is the edge of the bumper right before it slopes 90 degrees. I am just careful about putting things in and out of the cargo area.
  3. Same issues here. Easy/exit feature works when it wants to. On my wifes setting, she unlocks the door with her fob and seat moves into her position and allows easy entry because seat is back, puts key in ignition and seat never moves forward, she has to do it manually, when stopped and removes key, seat moves back for "easy exit". I never had a problem with my setting. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.... Problem unable to be duplicated at dealer.
  4. It's the fuel injectors doing their job. Ticking sound resonates through the fuel rail. Some are louder than others and I have no idea why. If it gets worse or sporadic, then there is something else wrong.
  5. Throws off the alignment of the steering rack as well as the driveshaft angle. A slight drop of 1" will be ok, but anything lower and you WILL have problems.
  6. I loathe people who do not signal their intentions. If I can get next to them, I will ask them if their turn signal is broken. Many lives can be saved by signaling, and saying I don't use it because it's loud is incompetent and just plain reckless.
  7. Thanks Izzy, I have the stick on weights on the inside of the rims on my "Stang. I think it is horrible to put the wheel weights on the outside of the rim....I wasn't sure if they could use the weights on the inside of the rim. If so, this is what I will have done.
  8. The issue is not with the "chrome Cladding" rather with the outside exposed metal rim which the wheel weights are attached to. I have peeling/flaking issues on all rims. The plastic is good. Was the issue of the outer lip of the rim addressed by the new manufacturer Lacks? I am about to take the car in for this issue, and do not want any crap from the service manager about replacement.
  9. Mine does the exact same thing. Creaking/ clicking sound which is very loud......only did it in the summer on hot days.
  10. What exactly was I "wrong" about ? I f you can afford a lambo, why not just buy a porsche cayenne Turbo S ? Besides.....street racing is illegal.... :burnout: The spent exhaust gasses spin the turbine, not the compressor. There is no "compressor" this is forced induction douche. The helical gears compress the air, feeding the motor. Douche.
  11. They need to replace the camshaft position sensor and possibly the exhaust control valve solenoid.. I had the same issues, running rough and jerky idle with foot on brake. Is your car color blazing copper by any chance ? They have 3 now at my local dealership with same issues......all blazing copper :o Someone else on hhere has same issues.....also coppper !
  12. Buy a mustang, get a kenne bell supercharger and push 600 hp ! You may want to forge the internals first.
  13. That is a sweet price ! Jump on it, you will not regeret it. This car is awesome in every way !
  14. If the seals are installed properly, it will solve the leaking issue. The process is difficult, so I guess my tech is a good one.
  15. I'm going to pep boys to buy that cheap ass window tint film to install on the BAMR. AT least this will hold the shards of glass if it decides to shatter !!!
  16. I have had the seals replaced.....the first and only repair done @ 12,000 miles. I have over 15,000 miles now and no smell. I also checked the PTU seal area, and all is dry. It really has to do with how the seal is installed. There' s a heat process that must be followed in order for the seal to seat properly. I know ford has a huge problem here, but if it was a design flaw, all '07, '08 and '09's will leak. It took 12,000 miles for mine to leak, which leads me to believe it is not a design flaw, rather the material they use for the seals and how they are installed. I for one would not put up with this problem and I haven't. I honestly believe through extensive research and mechanical work, there is no design flaw, rather how the seals are installed and the material of the seals. I am just waiting for it to leak again, but rest assured, ford wants to repair this problem and they 're working on it. Some resolutions come easy and some do not. Just be patient, and this must be dealt with on a case to case basis and not based on what problems others are having. I believe this is a safety issue and must be corrected and I feel all your pain. This is a new model car and my pops always told me, never buy the first or second year of a "new" model. I couldn't resist, I love this car, it is awesome in every way. I will always buy domestic and never foreign. Please do not let this problem ruin your view of american cars. They are at par or above their foreign counterparts in quality, and remember this is one problem that is being dealt with and will be resolved.......The Edge is the most comfortable and quiet car I have ever owned and it is leaps and bounds above my parents Lexus RX 330. Sorry for the rant, I have been drinking and although I pride myself on having no gramattical errors, there may be some in this post......hey , it's Friday ! Good luck to all and I hope all of your issues are resolved. :tequila:
