I called the San Tan Ford dealership in Arizona. They walked me through a simple process and it WORKED! Start the car, turn it off and then immediately press the button under the blue alarm light 3x. The blue alarm light is under the steering column to the left. I have the Pursuit Series PROPLM aftermarket alarm that was installed by the dealer when they got the car on the lot. Another problem I had was my alarm was going off randomly at times when I unlocked the door or opened the door. This was solved by making sure the car was set up to only unlock the drivers door when pressing “unlock” 1x. There is an issue if it is set up to unlock all 4 doors with one click. You can still unlock all 4 doors by pressing “unlock” 2x. Hope this helps!

urbanrules86 - Wondering if you ever figured out the horn honks when locking and unlocking your Ford Edge? The dealer just replaced my car battery on my 2011 Ford Edge Limited and it’s doing the same thing. I’’m not double clicking either.
