2026 Update Recently acquired our second Edge - 24 Titanium Elite (with factory hitch). Upon giving it its first bath, I assumed something was missing when I washed the rear bumper and the cover felt like it was dangling. Anyway, I wound up at this thread when I researched the situation. It is solid as is. I do note that one of the pictures (added below) in this thread shows the "wings" mounted over the plastic piece on the sides. I looked at our 18 Edge and notticed that the deflector was mounted under the side pieces which may bring the center up tighter to the spare tire well than if mounted on top of the side pieces. There were no mods required at all on this vehicle - all six screw holes were present. Thanks to all for the contributions to this thread!

Thanks guys! I had viewed that YT video but hadn't taken a good look at my wife's Edge at that time. After watching it again, and looking at her Edge it was close enough. On her Edge it was a simple as removing two screws on the bottom shroud, prying the two halves of the shroud apart and removing the two screws holding the switch in place. Ten minutes or so and job done. Thanks again

Hi, I recently purchased a 2018 Edge. I more recently noticed that the toggle on the end of the wiper switch does not turn on the rear wiper. However, the rear wiper does work when the switch is pushed for a rear window wash, so not a fuse or motor issue. My guess is the switch is bad. I can't find a video on removing the switch on this year, just older Edge's and this is definitely different. Can anyone point me to a source with information on removing it? Thanks
