  1. Exact same problem on my 2017 Ford Edge Titanium. Both harnesses shredded. This is not a 'wear and tear' issue that happens from regular driving, it's is faulty design & assembly issue. This should be a recall by Ford. My mechanic showed me the harnesses after and they are completely torn to bits. Absolutely ridiculous, no way should that happen if these harnesses are routed properly. Just another poor design issue by Ford, so many problems on this car it's ridiculous. Total lemon. Never buying a Ford again.
  2. Hi all Ford Edge 2017 Titanium 2.0L with same issue as described above, liftgate gets stuck and drain the battery overnight even though it's fully closed, but only when the car thinks the liftgate is open (indicator on dash). Issue comes and goes depending on trunk usage. Dealer wants $550 CAD to replace the 'liftgate latch and cinch motor'. Looking for the part in Canada I'm not 100% sure which part is needed: https://www.eastgatefordpartscanada.ca/v-2017-ford-edge--titanium--2-0l-l4-gas I believe it is the Lock Actuator for $230. Feel like the dealer is a bit gougey here. Lock Actuator FA1Z-7443150-B
