New Member, Was trying to post in Sync Forum but it is greyed out.
Purchased a 2023 brand new from dealer. While I was sleeping the vehicle did a auto update to Sync.
I am now at the latest level no further updates are available.
I received no error messages after the update however features such as add a profile, on display temperature dial
etc did not come across. Worked with a excellent Sync Support person over a hour and they said take it to the dealer.
Dealer unable to resolve and said they opened a ticket with a FSP ? and will call me back when they have a direction. 3 weeks later no call.
Called Sync support they said the ticket was closed and asked if I ever took it to a dealer. They say I need to stay on the dealer and make sure they
resolve the issue. Dealer says they have to wait for FSP ?
I have been in IT Hardware support for over 20 years, now retired and do not want to play these games. If a code update is partially successful or fails
you have to back level the code and try again, if that is not possible you remote in and manually update failing modules, if that does not work you replace hardware.
I really do not want to spend weeks and months badgering people to resolve a issue any suggestions ?
