  1. AWD where is the PTU located in reference to the engine? Front, rear, side?
  2. It was a fresh oil change when it started happening so the color of the oil stayed the same.
  3. Well, I’m pretty sure but someone just texted and said old coolant can look like new oil. 🤷🏻‍♂️ it has the feel of oil. Not as red as power steering fluid. A bit translucent like new oil with the color of new oil. how can I be sure?
  4. I just bought a 2019 Ford Edge Se. It was a fleet vehicle that has 180k miles on it. However the transmission and engine have both been replaced. The "new" trans has just under 100k on it and the new engine has 45k on it. Both were done at a dealership. Much to my dismay, mine bucks at slow speeds just like talked about in this thread. It seems to do it whether warm or cold. If I accelerate a little more aggressive you don't feel it but if you are just slowly coming up to speed it is very evident. It seems that it is a torque convertor issue from reading this thread. I do not have a warranty and I'm sure since I am not the original owner the Ford Service Dept that did the engine and trans swap won't help either. What kind of cash should I expect to shell out to get a new torque convertor? pstrdenver
  5. I bought a used 2019 Edge Se. I've owned it for 6 weeks now. On 4 occasions it has puked oil when parked. I've confirmed their is no drips and can find no oil traces on the engine, under the engine, or anywhere visible above and below. No blow back down the belly of the car, nothing. Again it doesn't drip but has puked a patch of oil out 4 different times. I keep cardboard under it to monitor any new happenings but nothing. After being stumped by it, I checked the dipstick and it looked over filled so I thought maybe it was puking over filled oil. I took it to get an oil change and told them my theory. They changed the oil. Two day later it puked oil again. I say puked because its an oil splatter not a typical oil drip. Any ideas before I take this in somewhere? (I haven't even mentioned the jerk in shifting between 2,3,+4 gears.) Thanks in advance for any and all help Pstrdenver
