I may get a 2013 with v6. Looks nice and price is right. Water pump was replaced by dealer 15k miles ago. Too bad they didn't do anything else while they were in there.

When a Ford dealer replaces the water pump on a 3.5 do they only replace the pump or do they replace the chain and guides while they are in there? Is there a mandate from Ford or is it up to the dealer or mechanic as to what all is replaced?

Thanks for having this forum. I may be buying an Edge and do most of my own work so will definitely be reading this forum a lot.
