In the instructions, I assume for my 24 Nautilus Hybrid, I just push start button without pushing the brake so it is in full accessory mode.

Thanks for update. How on earth do they think the OTA is possible when you look at all the conditions (SOC, battery voltage, profile mode, etc)? If OTA was so much better, why not do it that way at the dealer? They should be able to force an update through secret commands. I watched a tech try to do it mobile and it looked primitive. = downloaded to tool, build USB key, then insert in car USB and then start update. In my case, it failed to recogize the key and the tech stopped. I considered that as a blessing. He was able to get window fix and the GWN done but balked on the APIM. I have noticed it takes MINUTES for the vehicle to recognize a USB key (like a music USB),

It finally worked for me once I understood what they were describing, The image in the manual is poor and misleading - just like the image pointing to the interior fuse box. The access slot referenced is a slot underneath the power ports in the rear section of console. It is molded into the console as a little open top compartment. It is easier to feel to find rather than see if you are sitting in drivers seat. It is black so will not be obvious to see if in the garage. Once you insert the each fob, it takes a some seconds (more than one expects) to see the code display on the 48 inch display area where other messages appear (seat belts, etc). The delay was long enough that I initially thought it did not work and does not last that long. I suspect you are not inserting the fobs in the slot.

OCCASIONAL brief occurrences of exhaust fumes in interior
Bunky replied to Phineas's topic in Recalls, TSBs & Warranty
If you smell exhaust in the interior, you obvious have a leak somewhere and should identify and fix the leak before worrying about engine performance. For this, I do not think you need a specialized mechanic except it should be someone with a good nose. A Ford dealer may have specific experience if it was a common issue. If it happens at certain times (like idle), you could mention that and if a rear passenger smells it more. I personally would guess it is in the rear somewhere or related to something bolted to the floor like the seats..
