  1. still looking for some excitement, how about some 35" bfg's with 3" bypass shocks, drop the interior weight and glass.put a cage in it and go off-road.
  2. maybe soon we'll see what one will do here gutted(interior and other non essentials)with 35" all-terrains some 3" coilovers and a little massage work on the cv's and ring and pinion!
  3. This is the way the future suv/cuv/light truck chassis are going(no matter how much the old school resists)to keep production costs down, lighter build weight, better cafe average(mpg)for the whole make vehicle lineup(envirostuff).Might as well start figuring out how to race this stuff.
  4. Hopefully I'll be looking into this
  5. Looking for someone (drivetrain engineer) that can help with changing thresholds for the advancetrac/abs to limit overide in offroad conditions yet still manage torquesplit to help preserve the fragile cv's.anybody?anybody?
  6. Let's do it,now I just need to find 2 new edge awd's laying around! got some parts money, fuel sponor, body and paint is good to go,we'll see BW1 MF motorsports
  7. Sorry,The idea of the 35's is for racing, testing and proving of any engineering oversight.since this is the way all vehicles will be manufactured soon.with on frame body mounting and heavy drivetrain being reserved for only commercial purposes,I was not planning on having the lowered impact member even ride above a stock height f-350 4x4 level(quite doable) this vehicle would strictly be a off-road(race)vehicle.As for my daily driver it is a 04 focus svt, so that pretty much puts a stock edge or just about any lincoln bumper at my mid to higher door area. just trying to see if there is any engineers with confidence out there on this idea
  8. I'm hoping for some lower gearing for final drives to handle some 35" a/t's any ideas?
  9. Hello, Would anyone think an edge with various mods and 35"tires do well off-road? I do,whats your opinion?
  10. Hi, Do you think the engineers of this on demand system accounted for the crazy person who might try a set of 35" tires on the vehicle and would any of the advancetrac/abs ,roll controll adapt?
  11. Hi, Anybody want to see an edge on 35" bfg all-terrains? what do you think?
