I recently purchased a 2020 edge with 42k on it. I drained and fill some tranny fluid (5.5 qts) and now just changed the oil at 47k. I am getting ready to do the tranny again and also the rear differential and front ptu while I'm undercoating it. Upon inspection there is a drain plug on the front ptu. It looks factory installed. According to the internet research I have done there's not supposed to be one on anything past 2018? Perhaps somebody replaced the unit with aftermarket? Anybody else run into this? I'm glad it will make this much easier to change the fluid. Any thoughts appreciated.
