Our MKX has a rattle as well with the Vista roof. After looking at it myself it seems that the driver side bar that's attached to the wind screen that pops up is rattling. You can feel that it's loose compared to the passenger side bar. We're taking it into the dealer this week to have them look at it.

Hi All -- I'm wondering if anyone has any insight into the dealership packages for protection, etc. We are debating getting the interior protection because we do have a kid on the way and we have the camel interior so we're thinking it would be worth the cost and the warranty covering it if a stain does occur. I'd rather not have our MKX look like a beater in a few years. Does anyone have any opinions or can point me to some reading material on the different packages they offer? Interior, Exterior, Sound, Rust, protections, etc? Thanks!

We placed our order for our MKX on 4/14 and it arrived last week and we picked it up last night! :hyper: We got Black w/ Camel Interior and I have noticed a tad bit of glare, but other than that everything is perfect! I'll post some pictures this weekend when I get a chance to take some during the daytime.

We paid $681 over invoice price on our MKX that we purchased through the fleet program that my work is a member of. I believe it's a really good deal considering what I've read and that it's a new model. With the special financing going on right now too it was the best deal around!

My wife and I looked at the Acadia and both felt it didn't ride near as nice as the Lincoln MKX. Also, the road noise is much louder in the Acadia. We also looked at the Acura RDX/MDX and the Mazda CX-9 as well and ultimately went with the Lincoln MKX. Our top 2 were the Acadia and MKX, we really liked the 3rd row but the ride in the MKX and the confort of the 2nd row bench won in the end. Plus I absolutely love the seat coolers! We never did look at the Outlook but I read somewhere that it's very much like the Acadia, even on the same frame? Not sure about that though.

The wife and I just put our order in on Saturday for an MKX AWD w/ Ultimate and Vista roof. We opted against the Navi from the reviews about how difficult to use it can be and I'll probably look at putting in aftermarket Navi down the road. I wasn't allowed to get the THX system so I hope the standard 6 speakers sounds decent. We can't wait to get it!
