Second one in how long or how many miles?

Repaired already, PTU Kit "as per TSB", Great Dealer, Easgate Ford in Hamilton On, Can't say enough about their great service.

I have a 2009 AWD Limited with 38000 km and I am getting the infamous gear oil burning smell. I strongly suspect a PTU seal replacement is in order. Two questions, How many seals are there,ie, one one each axle? or what? 2) Has Ford come up with a better fix? Upgraded seal kit? I see some on here that have had this repair done numerous times. I'm calling my dealer tomorrow morning. Thanks

Had a Hidden Hitch with a 2" receiver installed yesterday, on my .09 Edge. Looks great, too bad the installer didn't reinstall the floor pan properly. Now I have to go back. Oh well

Got a pair today from GM dealer(ughhhh) $12 Canadian, Cheap

The two A/C vents with the chrome surround look great, however it look's like Ford cheaped out by not doing the same to the two outer vents. I would like to source the chrome trim if I could, any help would be appreciated.

The only advantage of building and pricing a 2009 is for info purposes only, as Oakville assembly is producing 2010's now. If you want a 2009, you'll have to rely on dealer stock. The 2009's come with an additional $5000 "Delivery allowance". 2010' is only $2500 I feel Employee pricing is a great deal and in my area of Southern Ontario there are only a few 2009's remaining. My dealer had to arrange a dealer trade for my Edge.

Just picked up my New '09 Limited c/w Pan. roof. I did a ton of research and it's more than I imagined. This is my first Ford of any kind, that's from a converted GM guy and I've been buying cars for 35 years.

Can the rear middle head rest be removed? I was thinking of rear view visibility problems.

I did a "Build and Price" on Ford.ca and it came up with, for a 2009 Limited with Pan. Roof and Cargo Kit for a total of $34764 Can.$ +$1350 destination fee - $3485 "Employee pricing discount" - $5000 "Delivery allowance" For a 2010 you get; +$1400 destination fee - $3530 'Employee pricing discount' - $2500" Delivery allowance" Total $37269 Can. $
