  1. Thank you for this. Even though this post is almost a year old I still haven't been able to get it off. I can use a tool to get all the clips (X5) at the top, but cannot get the 2 of (X3) at the bottom. It feels like it will break before they let go. How do I access them?
  2. Mine stays on. The heat is inconsistent though as it gets warm and then cools off and then warm again, but it's always on unless I turn it off
  3. I've watched YouTube videos on prior years but none seem to be quite right. I can pop off the piece behind the door opener to see the bolt, no problem there. But I cannot figure out how to get the window button panel off to expose those bolts. Any pictures? Start in the front or the back? I don't want to break it. Thanks
  4. Thank you. I put a LED backlight strip on my TV at home. The thing runs off the 5v USB and uses a wireless remote. That USB goes off with the TV. Still playing around with the one in the car.
  5. I've seen a few aftermarket, and the Ford one only does under dash and maybe the cup holder. I may homebrew something with LED strip lights and a wireless remote. I have no hope of figuring out how to get it on the touch screen like the OEM. Any idea whether the USB ports stay hot when the key is off?
  6. I traded in my 2010 Edge SEL which had both a panorama roof and ambient lighting. I can live without the roof, but I really miss the ambient lighting. Can it be done aftermarket? The old one had a push button to toggle through the colors. I see the Titanium is through the touch screen. I'd like it to be as stock as possible. Thanks for any advice or experience.
  7. I agree with this author of this thread. The panel lights are dim in all but complete darkness and the gauges are hard to read in day light. Poor design.
  8. I agree with this part. It's a 6 speed I disagree with this part. They all seem to leak, so by that analogy, it's normal to leak. I originally stated that mine slipped on acceleration from a stop and rolled backwards. I was admonished by akirby forr posting in this thread, but it was somewhere in here that I read of others having problems with rolling backwards on a slight incline. I want to add that since then I have not felt mine slip on acceleration. Maybe it was on a stick or sand or something.
  9. Mine (2010 less than 1000 miles) rolls backwards even on a slight hill, and the transmission has slipped when accelerating from a dead stop several times. Common?
  10. I have a 2010 with 500 miles on it. It hesitates, but I'm giving it some time to figure me out before I take it to the dealer.
  11. Just bought a 2010 AWD Edge. Am I going to have this problem too?
