Wouldn't a aftermarket CAI, T/B spacer, new air K&N air filter help out with the gas mileage?

Went and did a search and looks like it is on the 2007 and 2008 model years. Just hoping some didn't travel over to the 2009 and 2010...(knocks on wood).

oh man lol going to pick up my new 09 SEL AWD tomorrow and I live in CT.....and now I'm hearing this (shakes head) I did a whole two weeks of Edmunds, Consumer Reports, AAA, and even You Tube to find a good family vehicle. They all gave great reports on the 2009/2010 Edge, with no reports on this PTU smell...or windshield wiper smell, (lol ya I read that post) Even the consumer write ups were about 97% for a great vehicle. I really do hope I wont get this problem. What is the actuall number (or %) of people that have this problem in the Northern States compared to people in the Nothern States that dont?

Found that magnaflow, gibbs, and Flowmaster make an exhaust for the edge.

Hello all! We are very interested about the Ford Edge and about to pick up a 2009 SEL AWD tomorrow! We to searched most of CT and there were none to be found. The dealer had to get it from Mass. Our car just had it and wasnt going to make it another year. Looks like Ford hit a Home Run with this model. Took a while to choose it from others ( Escape, Fusion, Focus, Expidition etc etc ) and looks like we made a very good choice.
