Wow, wish I had the ones you are looking for. Especially since I'm not far & in LE.

I just installed the R1concepts cross drilled and slotted premium rotors with the posi quiet ceramic pads front and rear. So far no dust and they feel great. Braided lines would be nice but I'm good for meow... I'm happy with my purchase. Needed new rotors and pads anyways. Very easy to change too. Brembos would be very nice but I don't feel that they would be worthy purchase for the edge. Unless I had a rear wheel drive or all wheel drive with a turbo/supercharged v8 in it. Drool......

I just ordered a set of red ones for mine. I was gonna get a set of blk ones until I saw a pick of a murdered range rover with red ones and that sold me on the reds. Ill post pics in my gallery once i get em.

Great job! Now do the chrome strip across the front of the hood and exhaust tips. Then get some transparent vinyl and lay it over the headlights and tails. I did it to my headlights and emblems if you wanna see how it looks. Pics in my profile. But ya, looks great! You will probably get some haters about the plasti dip but hey, it's totally removable.
-
Spray em with that plasti dip stuff. I see a lot of people are doing it. Sprays on like paint and you can peel it off like a decal when ya wanna go back. Then you can decide if ya want em blk permanently. I dunno. Just a suggestion.

265/40-22 is what I have. Wouldn't want any lower profile.
-
I may be interested but not sure what I have to do to make it work on an 07 edge that didn't come factory with navigation.
-
You wouldnt by chance have a rear drivers side door?? Someone hit mine and I am in need of a new door. blk would be nice but whatever. Im on the hunt. LOL

Higher offset should sit in father on the wheelwell. Definately not hurt wheelbearings. Better for them I guess. More the wheels sticks out puts more stress on the wheel bearings. Also, I am unsure on the hub diameter of the edge vs mustang. I would assume they would fit but not sure how they would look sitting farther under the fenders. I am sure sombody will chime in that would have the answers you are looking for.

I second teh SLOOOOOWWW. LOL. Welcome to the Edge world. I too left the Mercury Maruader forum. However, I love my edge and have learned many things from the great people on this forum. Again, Welcome to the forum!

For those of you looking for the tint overlay, If you look at my pictures you can see that I tinted mine. I did the front and rear emblems. I used just plain vinyl decal thats tinted. You can buy it in a number of colors. I did my emblems and my headlights with it. Just make sure you use a heatgun and its a piece of cake. The front is held on by a couple nuts and the rear is just double sided taped. I did the whole emblem all the way to the underside. Not sure if thats what you were looking at doing or not but I thought I would chime in and tell ya just incase. Pics are in my gallery. Should be able to see em?? I can get more if needed also.

My bad. You are correct. I dont know why I put 9011. They are 9005. I hope you didnt order the wrong high beams. I went with the 8000k kits.

sport healights. - http://www.partsgeek.com/mmparts/headlight/ford/edge.html
High beam - 9011 (You dont want to replace these with HID. Lose the FLASH TO PASS). I used PIAA Extreme whites.
Low beam- H11
Fogs- H11
I am pretty sure on the sizes. For the low beams get the regular ballast and for the fogs go with the slim ballasts. I bought mine from a website and have had them for almost a year now and NO PROBLEMS and the prices are AWESOME!!!!!

cannon, Looks like you will have to spring for the sport headlamps then. LOL. There is a thread on here I started that has the by far cheapest place to get the headlights and tails for the sports. I am cool with the mirrors, sucks but owell. My downfall with my 07 was the blindspot mirrors not being there. But..... I judt bought the actual mirrors with the blindspots from another member on here. Just waiting for them to arrive. I just have to figure out how to remove just the mirror glass. Today was the first day I drove the edge since redoing the wheels in all satin. So funny how everyone stares and breaks their necks trying to figure out what it is. I am loving it!!!

never thought of the 3M film. That would be a hell of a job. Give the ol heat gun a workout. LOL
-
WOW! The LED's look awesome! I didnt paint my grill, I bought it directly from Ford already painted for like $150. You can also buy them in straight primer too. Thanks for the compliments! I am learning from the master. LOL. Sorry about taking over your thread... I have the H&R springs on mine as well. I love them, feels more like a car. Was a PITA to install, the rears anyways.
-
right on! interested to see how they work out. Did you ever check out the sport headlights??? They would look AMAZEING on your edge. I just opted for the tint for now until I decide to spring for them. Even the sport tails look great too. All the chrome that is in ours headlights and tails are all black in the sport ones. Also, I just refinished my 300$ 22 inch wheels and tires to all satin black. I just uploaded a picture. Not as cool as your satin edge though.
-
i was thinking the same exact thing. LOL. I also was thinking about the tails too.
-
I was just reading about that. I was amazed to hear it was in the clear coat. Your ride looks amazeing. Very intrieged by the flat paint. I live in Illinois, The quad cities. Its about 2.5 hours west of chicago.
-
I have the harness but never installed it. Some say they did and some say they did not. I deactivated the light flash for when I unlock the car via key fob and I do not use the auto headlights either. no problems what so ever with the kits I got. alot of people seem to buy them from retro but I didnt wanna spend that much and I couldnt be happier with my choice.
-
awesome. I wasnt sure if you could put a clear on and still keep the satin. so do you still wax it?? I have no idea. Still puzzled... I am a little slow today. Haha

what about like the 96 cobra hood? some vents transplanted off of one of those hoods?

I have a blk grill in a 07 sel. But my edge is blk anyways so that may not help. I didn't paint mine. I bought mine already painted from ford. Was under 200$ and painted at employee price. I would try and color match it. Think that would look good. Or even to match your wheels maybe.
