  1. I've noticed almost every 2010 Edge that I see has the same issue?
  2. I have a 2010 Edge SEL with the chrome clad wheels. I am having an issue with the wheel itself (not the chrome coated plastic part). The edge of the rim has begun to develop rust spots. I tried a mild chrome cleaner with no results. Just wondering if anyone has a similar issue with their wheels, and if you do, what was the fix if any. I included a couple of photos that may help. Thanks.
  3. The Ford service manual states, PTFE Lubricant (XG-8 ESB-M1C111 and Silicone Spray Lubricant (XL-6 ESR-M13P4-A) as the recommended lubricants for the sunroof. It don't specify which lubricant is used on what part. I was having the same problem with my 2010 Edge. The roof would open fine but close slowly. Sometimes it would stop dead about 10 inches from being closed and I would have to help it by hand. I had MPT Silicone lube (grease) in my tool box. I opened the roof and noted where Ford had applied the lube initially, cleaned the old lube with a soft brush and alcohol and reapplied the new grease. The top will now close on it's own although it still seems to run a bit slower when it nears the end of the close cycle. I am thinking there are some lube points that I missed, so my intention is to remove the headlined after the summer ends and give it better inspection. Good luck with your roof.
  4. I feel your pain! If I can find an aftermarket CD changer / bluetooth capable / XM or Sirius ready radio that works with the controls on the steering wheel, I will switch to it in a heartbeat. I love my EDGE in every regard except the sound system.
  5. I have a 2010 Edge with Sirius radio. When I tune to a Sirius radio station (i.e. 60's on 6, 70's on 7 etc.) that's what is displayed on the radio. If I push the scan button the display advances to show the song title, then artist, then genre and back to station information. When I am tuned to an A.M. or F.M. station this information advances automatically. Is there a setting that I am missing that will allow the radio to show this information automatically when tuned to Sirius radio. It's a small issue, but it driving me buggy. That along with fact that whenever I drive with my friend in his new G.M.C. Terrain, he's quick to point out the fact that his radio automatically shows all song info. on his X.M. radio! Thanks in advance for any help. (B.T.W. my friend does concede that the Edge is a better vehicle in every regard when compared to the Terrain except for the radio system and the fact that he has a backup video display in his rear view mirror)
