Hi, i have a problem with the automatic tail gate (2008 Lincoln MKX). It began with the problem that it won’t close anymore - it was nothing in his way but it "beep" and open up again. So i had to close it manually. Since this, if i open it, the gate bump hard at the end and "beep" three times (like it will close), but stay open. How can I adjust it or what is wrong? It should ending open the gate much earlier. Thanks, Ralf

Hi, i have the factory navigation system in my 2008 MKX. I know if i press 3 and 6, there is a menu - speaker selftest comes first. Than you can show and clear DTC codes etc. Is there any other menu? Can i show any Vehicle Info? The Can Bus of the car know everything... Really anoying to me is the TPMS - the car just send a "peep" and a sign coming up. Thats it. I want to know WHAT tire and what is the psi etc. If i would use a Kenwood or Alpine head unit (with iDatalink maestro) i can see those informations. So, the OBD II of the car know it - but don´t want to tell me?

Hello, is an OBD 2 transmitter and app available to show the TPMS on my iPhone? The Car only shows (and beep) if ANY tire has to less air pressure. I know with 2014 Kenwood HU and iDatalink Maestro (if you remove you OEM HU) it can show exactly the air pressure of each wheel. Any experience? Ralph

Hello, since a wile i can´t hear any sound of the headrest monitor if i want to play the sound over the soundsystem. What do i wrong? Can i switch the frequency of the radio? (but if i scan allfrequencys, nothing is found) Ralf

Hello, yesterday i put in a wrong navigation dvd - now the entire head unit is dead. THX start up is showing up, than just a grey screen. How i can remove the disc? Do i need to open the HU? BTW, how do i remove the bezel in my 2008 Lincoln MKX to get the HU? Please help.. (i know it was my fault to put the wrong one in...) Ralf

Hello, i have a 2008 MKX. Is it possible to shutting down the rear vents if i use the AC in the front? I don´t want to use them in the back when my kid is with me. All he get are cold legs. Ralf

Hello everyone, because of swapping the navigation head unit, i need a frame for a "normal" 2DIN head unit. But it comes in a grey colour. I want to let it paint in the same silver colour of the bezel. Does anybody know the right colour code of THIS silver? Thanks, Ralf

Hi, just read about swapping the Navigation HU from 2008 models to the newer 2009 in a Ford Edge. That´s is possible like i read in an other topic. My question: i drive a 2008 Lincoln MKX with THX soundsystem. Is it possible too? Is the ampifier of the soundsystem from Pioneer like the HU and the newer 2009 are all from Sony? Hello, i drive a 2008 Lincoln MKX. Since a few month the right (passenger) side mirror is move every time i push the open door button. I can program the memory operation, but even with new programming the next time the mirror will move somewhere. Sometimes to the end of way till it knock! I tried the second key (with my girlfriends settings) and used mine after that. The Seat and driver side mirror is fine, only the passenger side has his own life! Some ideas? It´s really annoying to adjust the mirror after open the door - nearly every time. Ralf

Thanks for the answer! Has anybody a clue where i can find the wire for the mic? Where is the Sync Module located? I think the Pioneer has a "Mute" cable, so i have to find the Backup Sensor cable as well... I am looking for a long time for some wire diagram. I have a DVD with repair stuff, but what i need is not on it :-( Ralf

Hi there, i want to swap my factory nav of my 08´ MKX with a Pioneer Avic-X920BT. So, i have some questions: 1. - i want to keep my microphone in the mirror - is it possible? How can i found out what pin / cable it is? Does anybody has a wire diagram? If i look on the back of the OEM nav - no imprints... 2. - can i use the original GPS antenna in my MKX? I don´t wanna install a second one (i don´t know where the factory antenna is located) Is it the same plug (all Pioneer)? 3. - can i mute the new Nav radio when the "Parking Assist" is sounding like the OEM HU? Thanks for this fast answers! I bought the car from a army soldier here in Germany. If you "import! the car in other countries, you don´t have any guarantee. It´s limited only across North America... unfortunately. I contacted Ford Germany, they said: this model is not available in Europe, so "no chance" :angry: i hope i will not get any other problems, the car is running now for about 1.5 years with 18K miles on it. Do you really think it is possible to get the light´s apart? In the oven? I think the plastic will melt... not only the glue. Do you mean 200 F? How long should it "bake"? The black one look really hot! Ralf

Hello to Poland - welcome! BTW, my girlfiend is from Poland... :hyper: I am a little bit further with that problem. First you have to switch of the "GPS Area Restrictions" in the "Develop Menu" Than you have full satellite support. 3DFix Now you need a map. A Web - friend gave me a test DVD, - original DVD, USA Map files out - Europe files in... My status now: i can see where i am, the arrow is moving. But i can´t navigate yet, and can´t zoom in closer than 500 meters. I hope this friend will find the mistake. We need someone who can hack Navteq SDAL KIWI Format maps.... But it is a step... In the Develop Menu you can switch from UC (USA / Canada) to EW (Europe) mode, and you have a RDS-TMC button. But unfortunately i can´t see a difference. Ralf

Hello, has anybody this problems too?? Normaly i have fogging tail lights and panel after carwash. Now it´s raining here since weeks. So they are fogging all the time, don´t dry out. Water on the bottom of the light. I dryed them in my place, now i have huge spots on the inside from water, it really look bad. Do you know if Lincoln changed anything on models 2009 or 2010? I removed the lights, on the backside the have two holes, but they are sealed with blue stickers. I removed them for better "breathing", but it is just a little help. Is there a solution? I don´t want to buy new ones if i have the same problem again. They are really expensive! I drive the car in Europe, so if you bring it outside US - no guarantee Ralf

Hello, just seen a 2010 Lincoln MKX (at dealer in Vegas) with "smoked" tail lights and panel. Not this cheap "snap ons", real original parts. My lights are clear, they have black / brown plastic. Has anybody those lights or know where i can get them? It looked great and i hope i can swap them. Ralf
