Has anyone experienced this? Driving down the highway, and you roll the rear window down to let the dog hang his head out. There is a severe wind buffet experienced, almost a rhythmic sensation. Gets worse the further down the window is. Any cures?

2007 Ford Edge, AWD. Headlights have yellowed rather badly, and those so called restoration kits do nothing to clean them up. I even tried using high grit sandpaper and polish to no effect. So, replacements are in order. Don't want to buy OEM due to cost, and the china crap sold through ebay and such will yellow out as well. Also thinking about upgrading to HID, but being illegal, don't want to go that route unless through a projector. So, any suggestions as to a particular type?

How are you overcoming the problem of the DRls, short of trying to get the dealer to disable them (two here refused, in the US of A no less)? Decided to upgrade to HIDs. I thought about them in the foglights but would rather have them up higher. I have a 2007 EDGE SEL AWD.

Hello, we purchased a Ford Edge in February this year, and finding the stock headlights to be weak, I upgraded the low beams to a set of Candlepower.com H9 65w Narva bulbs. I was very satisfied with their performance. I was forced to lower the aim of the lights due to oncoming drivers "flashing" me. Still, they were great..until last night. I had driven to work in daylight, so the lights did not switch on. The Edge has the daytime running lights, which is a pulsing voltage applied to the headlight low beams that produces a dimmer beam than the standard low beam. When I came out to the Edge to drive home, I had no headlight low beams. Fog lights work, high beams work, no low beams. A check of the two fuses for the low beams shows them to be good. So today I set about troubleshooting the lights. I found out both H9 bulbs had blown out. It is not noticeable by visual observation, but using a multimeter found both bulbs had opened. Replaced them with the OEM bulbs I had removed, and I have headlights again. Anyone else have this happen?

I am missing the small chrome button that covers the shifter release. I have to buuy the entire plate that covers the shifter, price around $260.00. Junkyarding I have been, can't find one.

Ok, this one is weird. I have noticed since new, that on some occasions I would hit my setting for the memory seat and mirror settings, get in the Edge, and the right or left side mirrors would have to be adjusted. So I readjust them, save the setting, drive several times, and sure enough, I have to reset the mirrors again. 3 trips to the stealer, and they cannot find anything wrong or recreate the problem. This has gone on for 2 years. YESTERDAY!! My bride and I walk out to the car, I double click the remote to open her door.....and the right side mirror elevates to the full up position. Wha...??? So I try to recreate the problem...and it won't. Anyone else having this problem???

That's an industry term. Anyways, I have the memory Seat and Mirrors set up for me, and memory 2 for the bride. BUT...whenever it's my turn to drive, and I hit the button for me, the seat adjusts just fine, but the mirrors never do. Sometimes I can hit the No. 1 button 3 or 4 times, and the mirrors return to my position, but most of the time I just readjust and reset. Anyone else having this problem? Anything the stealer can do?

I used a hacksaw blade and made a cut in the OEM plug to accomodate the H9 bulb. No worries....

Just wanted to say hello and introduce ourselves to the forum. We are located in the Tidewater area of Virginia, just got our '07 last Saturday and we love it! Looked at others before making a decision, but kept coming back to the Edge. :D
