  1. Yes and No, First off I havent touched this thing for about 2 weeks because I was on vacation with the family so the project took a back seat. I ordered chrome 22" Boss wheels as pictured above and received black and machined wheels instead so that was one set back. I returned them and the chromes were out of stock and would not be available for about 6 months per Boss. I ended up going with a different wheel and so I will take measurements with it some time in the coming week to have a custom bracket fabed to work with the brembo and the Edge AWD 320mm rotor. For now this is the wheel. I am am swapping out the rear from a 22 x 9 to a 22 x 10 with a 25 mm offset so that it is flush with the fender, I do not like the look of it with small tuck in the fender. Spoke with the guys at Status wheels and he believes it will fit based on a couple Edge's hes done with this same setup. We will see. I work on Saturday and Sunday is Easter it it may be another week before I make any serious progress on it, but we will see.
  2. I finally found a set of wheels that will fit and are available. Had a ton of issues with size color and fitment on the Boss wheels. Getting my new wheels on Wednesday. Taking the Edge to the shop to make the brackets and I should have it together within a week to ten days max. I will post more info later on the brackets that we design.
  3. Welcome to the forum, we are happy to have ya. Have fun motoring and more importantly have fun modding...............
  4. After trial and error after trial and error we stepped back from this project and are going after it a different way. The Stock EVO rotor is 320mm as is the stock Edge AWD rotor. So in using that number we are going to stay with the Edge AWD Caliper and cnc a special bracket to relocate the caliper. We were so stoked about the caliper lining right up with the stock spindle that we closed our minds to other options, and its a lot less expensive and time consuming to go this route. I am fabbing up a template to have machined this week. Lets see how that goes. Here is what the stock AWD rotor and the caliper looks like while its sitting the way it is intended.
  5. Picked up the calipers from the powder coaters today and man do I love the way they came out. I had them color matched to the Copper of the Edge and he did a wonderful job on them. I also think I have picked out the new wheels I am going to use. I test fit the AWD rotor today and it was too small, where the Shelby rotor was a hair too large. We are back to test fitting other rotors. I am planning on spending more time on it this weekend. Here are some of the pictures.
  6. Its a good idea, but I dont want anything to do with the possible liability issues of a brake kit. I will however post a really in depth how to so that anyone who wants to attempt it can have the information.
  7. Ok, so I found a set of Acura TL Type S brembos that we are going to fit on the rears. Same style 4 piston as the fronts so we have some familiarity with them. Wont do a ton with those till the fronts are all set. Im going to post more pictures this weekend.
  8. Go to Autozone and get a set of the Durlast Gold CMAX pads and swap out to a set of new rotors, new fluid and ss lines. It will feel much more capable and cut dust to a bear minimum.
  9. Turns out the AWD rotor is 12.6" so that may be the most simple solution to this whole madness of rotors. I have a set but cant test fit till this weekend when I pick them up from powder coating. If not 2000 cobra R is the next candidate.
  10. I'm in Charleston SC. Thanks man its been a lot of work, but a lot of fun also.
  11. Not sure if it will or not just yet. I really have no way of telling until I get it all up and operational. Anyone with a 22 sport thats local and wants to try a test fit after we are done is more than welcome. My first inclination is yes, but again until I put pne on I cant say so with certainty. Tomorrow is full mock up day with either the Z06 or Shelby GT 355mm (14inch) rotor. We will know more then.
  12. What size factory wheel are we talking about? I know for a fact it wont fit the factory 17.
  13. Just when I though I had it all figured out, I came across a set of these Z06 rotors. Bolt pattern is different but they are cross drilled and a little cheaper than the Shelby GT rotor. I'm taking them to the machine shop on monday to have the correct bolt pattern bored and the center hub machined just a hair to match the Edge bore. Gonna give these a shot. Very nice rotor
